No there aren't 2 races mix together to make Puertoricans; There are actually 3, Taino Indians, Africans and Spaniors

I saw Rosie Perez on Conon O'Brien the other night she is going to have a documentary on tv later in June, about the contributions that Puerto Rico has made to American culture. She is Puerto Rician and she said that there are many different races that make up the Puerto Rican culture. Believe it or not one being Irish. She said that Puerto Rico used to be a harbor for many different countries. Thus the mix. A great mix at that!!
