This is my opinion only but I believe that white america has such an influence on how we view others that it can rub off on other races that are new to this country. I am sure that there are latinos that are flat out racist but I don't think that it is as big a problem as it is with the white race. I know many many many latinos and they are like my family.

If from Venezuela or Puerto Rico, there will be some Black Latinos on the shows. Venezuela and Puerto Rico have their significant populations of Afro descendants. Spain doesn't much, and most of Mexico doesn't either. But I do have to say that sometimes, some Latinos are a bit prejudiced. But it depends on the person really. It is mostly in the USA or other countries that Latinos turn a bit racist, but now in our native lands of South, and Central America, nor the Caribbean, being that the Caribbean is mostly Afro-mixed.

You have to read more about latin america history.
These countries like Venezuela,Colombia, Puerto Rico and Mexico have mostly indian mixed with spanish. The country were you will find most blacks is the Dominican Republic, they share the island with Haiti and the african slave population was far greater in this country and mixed to a lesser degree with spanish and indians (most indians were killed )than in any other. Since they do not export their TV programs you will not see this in your tv

Just because you don't see a lot of black people on Latino television does not mean that many Latinos are racist. It's just that there aren't as many black people in those Latin countries as there are here in the US; therefore, the majority of the population gets the majority of the representation in the media in those countries, and there aren't a lot of black people in Latino media. But there are some. Just because their television shows don't have a black person in every single scene of a show does not mean that they're racist.

I don't think so, my ex is spanish and my son is spanish. One thing they do not like is to be called what they are not (eg; calling a Puerto Rican a Mexican, a Cuban an Ecuadorian, etc.) They are not all the same, like any other, their cultures differ somewat and even the language is somewhat different.
