I will admit that if you are brought up in the surrounding of a nurturing environment i.e. "gay friendly" you will not suffer as much in regards to your social abilities, however like many being denied this you will feel like an outcast in some ways even possibly towards other gay people later in life what do you think?

I know gay men can adopt, get lesbians pregnant, donate sperm to surrogates and play the role of *uncle* and have the occasional visit to their kids, but on the whole, do many of us gay guys really give up the idea of kids for the sake of thinking that because we're gay we wouldn't make good fathers?

Do you care you'll most likely never have children?

not bothered?
outraged?
no opinion?

I'm only asking this because the Politics section of YA is filled with more conservatives then progressives. And honestly I don't see how people can say that homophobia is ok & I'm straight.

when others say..."I wish you weren't gay!" As if, you'd love to 'be with' that person, but that person is gay.

Recently I saw a question about whether Jordan should leave town because her baby is ginger. My question is why do red-heads get so much unjustified ridicule. We've all heard the ginger jokes.

Personally I think a guy with flaming red hair is dead-sexy especially if he has matching pubes.

straight? or gay?

also, one more question - if a straight guy watches himself j/o in the mirror, is that gay? LOL! I think it is.

what do you think?

Here's your chance to change a mind or two if the group doesn't speak for the individual. I know many Christians, and many seem rather disgusted about some of the actions fellow followers are up to.

Or do you agree with the viewpoints most often voiced? Please explain why or why not--or even if you're indifferent to the subject.

I am not trying to insult or belittle anyone in anyway. I am an R&S regular and I often read people saying "I was born this way", during the regular arguments.
I am not saying this is untrue, I was just wondering if there is any impiracle evidence or research to back this up or its really hot air.

So is it genetic, chemical or nuerological? And is there any evidence that you can cite for me?

Note: I don't think there is anything wrong with homosexuality, I was just wondering about the validity of this claim. I thought I was born Asexual in all honesty. Then developed into a Heterosexual as I grew older.

So please can you give me the science this is based upon?

Organized every year by the Grand Plains City Council and a coalition of area churches, the Gay Shame Parade has been an annual event here since 1977, the year that citizens first became aware of gay people's existence.
