Here's a link to an interesting list produced by Out magazine, not all of these people are out publically, like Jodie Foster.
Wikipedia also has a very long list of notable people that are GLBT.
My personal hero and a bit of history - Eleanor Roosevelt was bi.
Actually Leisha Hailey is a lesbian, but plays a bi-sexual character on the L word. The only other actress that is out on the L word is Daniela Sea who plays Moira/Max.

I think I heard Drew Barrymore is bi, I know Angelina Jolie is. Other than that, I can' only think of the "common" ones.
