Yes but the Bible also says judging others is wrong...but i don't see you trying to stop that! God didn't write the Bible but if He did I'm sure homosexuality wouldn't even be mentioned! Considering He loves everybody.

Where does the Bible say no to homosexuality? It says no to fornication, adultery etc etc. Sodom and Gomorrah are not about homosexuality (according to many biblical scholars) and Christ never said a word about homosexuality. Nor is it in the 10 commandments. And when Jesus was asked what the greatest tasks were he said to "Love God with all your heart mind and soul and to love your neighbor as yourself." As for a reconcilliation between Lutherans, Episcopalians, and Catholics....there are a lot more issues than just homosexuality that seperate these religions. Marriage of priests being a HUGE one!

Nothing has happened to Lutherans and Episcopalians.

A reconciliation? What on earth do you mean by that? Lutherans and Episcopalians would never recognize the Pope as a "God substitute".

Well, it seems to me that THEY are interpreting the Bible correctly. I don't believe the Bible says no to homosexuality at all. It is clear upon reading it that the Bible is AT WORST OK with it on the whole, and you don't take specific verse out of context

It ALWAYS goes back to the saying WWJD! And there is NO WAY you could convince me that Jesus would be so hateful and hurtful as some people are

The Bible also says you should kill rape victims, unless they're little girls, and then it says you should make them marry their attacker and spend their lives serving him and having sex with him.

Maybe the same thing which happened to that particular Biblical idea happened to homosexuality in the Episcopalean and Lutheran churches. Maybe they read what the Bible had to say, looked up and said "oooh... that's a touch psychotic", and decided to move on from it.

The bible also says that divorce is a big no-no (New Testament--multiple times). How about almost every sect then (except Catholics, and probably a few others)?

For example: LUKE 16:18 "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery."

So now divorce is fine and homosexuality (not mentioned in the New Testament) is a sin? Huh??

The Bible says that there's no 'any kind of sinning'. At the same time it calls all of us sinners. So if you can refrain from sinning by not being homosexual, then have at it. But I would think that you are still a sinner anyway.

Do Roman Catholics understand that those who are under the Law are under the curse of the Law? And that Jesus can take us out from under that curse and set us free from it?

Don't they teach that in Sunday School?

You need to ask yourself the following questions:

Do you like the fact that your religion says you are a walking abomination?

Do you like the fact that your religion says you will burn in hell?

Doesn't sound very pleasant to me, loose the religion. It's more trouble than its worth. If you wanna believe in God fine. Become agnostic. Many religions have caused too much pain and suffering in which the world has seen quite enough of.

I'm sorry if I've offended anyone.

The reference to homosexuality is sinful occurs in the book of Leviticus. Therefore it applies to Levites (the priests)
