Well I am not a girl I am a woman, but no not all of us are like that. I think men should be allowed to wear whatever they want also. But, I would not go borrowing someone Else's clothes I would get my own - that goes for her as well as you. Your point to her was correct

That's how it is and has always been. Actions as well. Perhaps it has something to do with men and men's things being considered the base of things and the sexes. Maybe men and the male world is seen as heavier and stronger while women's things are considered too flamboyant or something totally out of this world. So it's cute or playful to see women wearing more masculine things. Then if a man would wear or do women's attire or ways, it is seen by people as a step back and way off line. But don't forget that when women wear or do masculine things or mannerisms, it is usually a watered-down kind anyways with tinges of feminine touch. If it's a woman going for too much masculine, then people would see her as a lesbian maybe.

hi, just a quick shot at it..
"just to be clear NO im not a cross dresser.. i like being a guy and it was a point i was trying to make to her about taking things"
your answer is in your question, people consider it "unmanly" to wear girls clothes, but with girls it's just considered "tomboyish" to wear guy clothes.
it's a double standard that society imprints, and you've just shown it in your question.
does wearing guy clothes make her any less a woman? no.
but according to what you said, you aren't a crossdresser because you "like being a guy" you feel that it's a threat to your masculinity, and its there that lies the problem.
hope i've shedded some light

No, not gay, it's Cross Dressing.
The rules are stupid. Women look sexy in a man's suit and tie. Men are not permitted the same fashion freedom. Men wore skirts for a while in the late 80s and early 90s...I have a few left. But it never really took hold.
If she likes to wear your cloths and gives them back cleaned, why bother about it. If you want to don a frilly frock of hers, do it. Turn about is fair play, whether she agrees or not, it's called sharing.
(Lots of women like men's cloths, they like the fit, baggy, comfy, etc. Women's clots tend to be more tailored and form fitting, not as easy to wear.

It's not considered gay at all - it's considered transvestism, and the great majority of transvestites are not gay. Also, it's not remotely sick or twisted; you need to get some tolerance into your life.
The real issue is her borrowing your stuff and not giving it back. So talk to her - explain that's how you feel, and there you go.

Our society is full of these blind misconceptions which really have no basis in reality. Cross dressing has been around since separate styles for men and women came about probably around the same time we got out of animal skins.

this whole thing is so damn funny...are you really jeolous she wears your stuff- sounds like that...in fact you envy women can wear men`s stuff and NOT other way round..
i understand her say that cuz some girls can be hot in man`s clothes, but men MOSTLY look frumpy and rediculous..
and don`t get it when she doesn`t return your stuff..that`s not cool tho))
but the main point of this question is WHY CAN`T I (AS A MALE) WEAR WOMEN`S CLOTHES, RIGHT? you know my answer, i might be wrong tho- it is just my humble cents..

Girls can wear jeans...
And cut their hair short....
Wear shirts and boots...
'Cause it's OK to be a boy...
But for a boy to look like a girl is degrading....
'Cause you think that being a girl is degrading
But secretly you'd love to know what it's like
Wouldn't you
What it feels like for a girl?
Maybe thats why you make this question...
