i'm fed up with stupid actors making all this money, fame, and fourtune. it must be nice not having to worry about bills and putting food on the table for your children. just because you are in a movie, doesn't mean that your special. it seems like alll we hear about in the news is stupid movie stars, and their lives. ya know, i had a daughter a little while ago, and the birth wasn't in the paper. it wasn't in the news. it wasn't anywhere. so what makes these people so much more spectacular than anyone else? if you feel the same way, write me back and express how you feel!

Ok, a few days ago I asked a question wanting to know if I should tell mt bff I like her as more than a friend. Well, I dicided I wanted to tell her. But when I start to try to tell her I get so nervous I almost puke. Then I chicken out at the last minute and start talking about something else. I want to tell her SOO bad, but every time I try, I just can't. I replay how I would tell her over and over in my head a million times and I feel really confidant, but then as soon as I see her I start getting that weird feeling again. Then I stay up all night thinking about how stupid I am for not telling her. I'm like completly exausted from not sleeping, and I feel anxious and can't stop thinking about her 24/7. Yesterday I just broke down crying in my living room from being so exausted, emotionally and physically. I HAVE to tell her, but it's just so hard, I don't think I'll ever be able to do it. Then I'll just end up regreting it for the rest of my life!!!! HELP, what do I do?!?!?!

It seems like a very homophobic policy in the military. I mean, shouldn't people be able to express teir sexual orientation without being persecuted for it? My question is, are there any redeeming qualities to this policy?

This is kind of the opposite of what most people think:

I understand why guys like other guys, but I have no idea why one women would want to be with another women like that. What can they possible offer (other than friendship) that a man can't?

Please no stupid answers**

What I mean is this:
When first coming out of the closet, a GLBT person may feel sensitive and vulnerable when confronted with the harassment of straight people and right winged fundamentalists.
Then, as time goes on, that feeling changes to one possibly of anger, defensiveness, and "gung-ho" involvement in political activities and GLBT aweareness, becuase the GLBT person has gotten comfortable in their identity, but still wants to stop the harassment for their newly out GLBT community, becuase THEY have been there themselves.
Then, over time, as we get older and wiser, listening to the harassment and the homophobia, we just stop caring, because we don't want to feed the craved attention by the homophobes and harassers. Yet, when we get to this point, and stop "feeding" the behavior, then we get accused of having an 'attitude" if we just choose to ignore these people.

I'm a lesbian, and my girlfriend is very aggressive when it comes to sex. She would always come on top and hold my hands down so that I couldn't move. I usually try to overturn her but then we end up having a fight in bed....... How can I be more aggressive?

Recently a straight friend of mine asked a question about gay people. A simple question: "why are all the gay guys I meet so effeminate?" And it has a really simple answer: "they're not; you just didn't realize the other ones were gay, because they're not effeminate." But he'd never heard that answer before -- even though he's known gay people for years, it's just not something he felt comfortable asking, because it seemed like it might be an insulting question.

It seems like the answer to that question should be really simple to find, but it isn't. There's no resource for well-meaning but clue-free straight people to ask the questions that they might be embarassed to ask, for fear of seeming clueless,
bigoted, or just nosey.

So I'm setting out to change that, and I need your help. What are the questions? Think hard, dig deep. What are the questions you've always wanted to know about gay people, but were afraid to ask? (If you're LGBT: what are the questions you always get?)

Do you not understand, the trolls put the bait out there for you to reply. Then they report you for various minor infractions. These add up and get you suspended.

Report them and move on. Do not give them a second thought.

Once they identify you as a threat they will not stop until your account is suspended.
