Ok, a few days ago I asked a question wanting to know if I should tell mt bff I like her as more than a friend. Well, I dicided I wanted to tell her. But when I start to try to tell her I get so nervous I almost puke. Then I chicken out at the last minute and start talking about something else. I want to tell her SOO bad, but every time I try, I just can't. I replay how I would tell her over and over in my head a million times and I feel really confidant, but then as soon as I see her I start getting that weird feeling again. Then I stay up all night thinking about how stupid I am for not telling her. I'm like completly exausted from not sleeping, and I feel anxious and can't stop thinking about her 24/7. Yesterday I just broke down crying in my living room from being so exausted, emotionally and physically. I HAVE to tell her, but it's just so hard, I don't think I'll ever be able to do it. Then I'll just end up regreting it for the rest of my life!!!! HELP, what do I do?!?!?!

I'm not really sure what I'm afraid of. I think I'm a little bit afraid that she won't want to be friends with me any more. She's switching schools and lives about 30 min. away so if she got all wierded out, it would be really easy for her to aviod me, and I wouldn't be able to try and convince her that things could go back to normal and we could forget what I said. I'm not afraid of rejection, it's just, I have to let her know how I fell just incase she feels the same.

DON'T WRITE IT DOWN.
Oh my god, then it's permanent and there's proof if things go bad.
Anyway, tell her you want to talk to her and be like; "Look, I'm about to tell you something and I don't know if you feel the same way. If you don't, that's fine, really, I don't want to lose our friendship but I understand if you react negatively to this. If this does offend you, I'm really sorry."
And then continue on expressing your feelings.

Two suggestions. Either:
1. Write it down/email her
or
2. If you really want to do it in person, it takes a lot of nerve (as you obviously know). If you sense a moment when you want to tell her, take a deep breath and close your eyes. As soon as you open them, say it and know that it's done. If you still can't do it, try spending time with her without any intent of telling her in order to get comfortable enough to do it.

I'm 15
And i was in that situation when i was 12/13 for about 2 years!
This girl who lives on my road always used to flirt with me (she's bi), but I never had the confidence to say anything
And it was so painful not being with her
When i was around her i couldn't even look her in the eye
and after a while she just stopped talking to me and now she doesn't even say hi when i see her :[
My advice is to just tell her cause hearts are often broken by words left unspoken ! :P xoxox

I hate what you are going through. She might be weirded out for a while, but if she is a good friend then she should be accepting of you. Are you more worried about loosing a friend, or that she might not feel the same way about you?

im in the exact same situation, so i understand completely how you feel :(
everytime im near her all i can think about is how much i want to tell her, but theres no way i can make myself
and im sooo scared of losing her as a friend or freaking her out.
and we arnt in school or anything, so if she does freak, it would be sooo easy never to see me again.
im pretty much emotionally exhausted too. shes all i can think about. and ive gone over and over it in my head how to tell her...but i still cant do it.

this sounds silly.. but how old are you? are you overage to drink? have a few beers with eachother (wine or whatever you like) and then say it. it is much more easier. If you don't want to do that then you will have to just find the courage and say you want to take it one step further ( and say it like that 'what do you think about taking this/our friendship one step further' that way your not going overboard.. but she will still get the picture.
Good Luck*

If you don't have the confidence to do it in person then Email them and tell them that way. You have to tell her though. If you don't tell her you will just wonder what if for the rest of your life.
