Actually some of that info. is accurate and some not. There are general causes and then some situational causes that skew the percentages of general causes. For example, it's not true that children who experience homosexual acts in male only schools do not turn out differently on average.
The incidence of homosexuality in adults who attended all-male secondary schools in England was/is significantly greater than the incidence in those from coed schools.
It seems there are people in the middle of the Kinsey scale who can be swayed either way based on environmental and accidental factors.
Everyone is looking for either/or answers when it's never that simple, and everyone makes either/or assumptions as a result.
No-one seems to take cultural differences into account, but there is plenty of evidence that percentages differ significantly from culture to culture. And people seem to equate behavior with choice when there isn't any, and with no choice when there is.
Rationalization runs riot in this arena.

It's natural to want to explore the causes of all sexuality, not just homosexuality. We understand precious little about the mechanisms that causes people (or animals) to become drawn to one another to physically engage with one another, what causes monogamy or polygamy, what causes variations in attractions regarding age, weight, and all sorts of specific attractions, sexual boredom vs. ongoing excitement, the reduction of limerance, the reasons that men and women reach sexual peaks at different ages (men at around 18, women at around 28), etc.
Science has a lot of exploring to do. The focus on homosexuality has a more religious reason behind it. Gay people have to justify their existence in order to avoid being put in Jail because of the proscriptions against homosexuality found in religious literature.

I read some of it, it's interesting but...
Even if we showed this to everyone who believed it was a choice, they would still believe it is a choice.
It's impossible to rationalize it to people who would never change their opinions. It's easier just to ignore what people think and move on.

Interesting read. Thanks for sharing. But all the research in the world can never explain why there is so much hatred towards something that is so natural. When you find that report, I would be more than happy to read it.
