Man In Search Of Answers, posted an excellent, thought prevoking question in Women's Studies a week ago asking "Can a single mother bring up a son without a father? will he ever be a man?**" There were some very interesting and enlightening responses from posters.

Considering the effect that single mother households have on boys, what would the consequences of gays raising both boys and girls be? I am certainly not infering they will all turn gay, but will this affect these children adversely?

I am not homophobic or a gay basher. I believe that what two (or more) consenting adults do with one another is there business, and as long as it does not hurt anybody should be allowed.

However, I think that the act of homosexuality is not natural. It goes against nature. Sexual relations, as pleasurable as they may be, is for procreation; The pleasure is what ensures that a species copulate in order to continue their own kind. Since two members of the same sex cannot procreate, then it goes against the natural order of things.

Humans are part of the animal kingdom, biology applies to them too. Although we are exceptions, we are still in essence animals.

Note that I am basing my beliefs on what is observable and scientific. So please don't call me a bigot or a gaybasher. I realise that there are many social factors that need to be taken under consideration. As I have stated in the first paragraph.

Anyway how can I explain, tactfully what I believe without offending anybody

I'm 18 and Ive been in love with a woman for 4 years and I would die for her and give her the world an still have fantasies of marrying her, but I also find myself attracted to men, which I have been for years. On a whole, I find myself much more attracted to males than females and a lot of times when masturbating, it takes SO much to get off to women, (sometimes even her) whereas almost instantly when thinking of a man and just being with one and the quirks then feel guilty. While the answer might seem easy based on that, I'm still heavily in love with this girl and crazy about her... she's the most beautiful person I've ever seen and would love to spend the rest of my life with her. She knows about this and while I'll never be with her (engaged) it's the feelings that I have for her, a woman, which make me question my male feelings.

There seems to be too many programs added to the systems.I,m getting to the point ans. questions is too touchy. Maybe things are getting too personal. I,ve already been insulted about certain curse word that upsets some people.Like i need to applogyize to them. Don,t they read further are only pick those that want to cause trouble or blab Abuse Just skipp the question and find only the nice ones they don,t want to read about. It gets down and dirty at times .What is your comments?

15 year old girl would of had enough sexual encounters with one such person, as girls that age don't have as many partners as say, a 30 year old(add in the odds of obtaining hiv in just one encounter as opposed to several (remember negative wives remain negative for a long time sometimes having sex with positive husbands) (people don't know it, but the virus is notoriously hard to get, otherwise there'd be a hell of alot more people who have it given the amount of unprotected sex that goes on) to become positive, considering all that, strictly speaking mathematical odds here..do they seem pretty low?

i have been married for one year now, but i have been with my man for 6 years, i am so attracted to women i dont know what to do.i like lesbian porn, and i have kissed a woman before. i want to go all the way. some how i think if i do the real deal, it will be all out of my head, and i can move on, but what if i try it and i like it? how can i fight this urge of being intimate with a woman? the urge is so strong. i have been curious for about 11/2 years and for the past year the desire to do this has grown so much stronger than before. i love my husband so much. i have a very high sex drive to begin with, all i do is think about it all the time, i even picture myself being physical with some of my straight friends, help, what would you do?

I know this sounds odd. I was at a straight dance and a nice woman came up and starting talking w/me. Nothing odd there. A great song came on, so I asked her to dance. We had a lot of fun! While we were dancing - fast dancing - she would ocassionally touch my arms or shoulders. But at the end of the night, she went out of her way to say goodnight and see if I would be returning on the next friday night dance. I don't think that it was anything other than fun - after we first met, she went out of her way to introduce me to her sister. Then again who knows - and I have to admit that I'd be curious . . . .
