Oh boy, my friend, Arielle likes me, and I dont' know how to tell her that she shouldn't!!! I mean, yeah, I'm Bi, and I'm looking for a girl, but I wouldn't wanna go out with my best friend! What do I do? And how can I get her to NOT like me like that?

I'm not sure why "she shouldn't" like you, because obviously you must be a very fine person for someone to like you like that! But I understand if you don't have those feelings in return for her. I'd tell her that you'd really want to stay friends because it'd be too awkward if you started dating. Tell her that you cherish your friendship with her too much to let the complications of dating get in the way.

Good luck.

Be honest with her. Tell her, ya we could get together but I know it wouldn't work out and then you would be pissed and there goes my best friend. Or we can just keep this platonic and everything will be good. As long as you don't act based on her feelings I think you will be OK and she won't be pissed at you. Or you could do some disgusting thing in front of her and make yourself less desirable. Like take a poop with the door open and make a lot of nasty noises. That might turn her off.

Tell her bluntly that you are looking for a best friend not a lover. This is becoming a common problem among gays and lesbians. Friends falling in love with friends. That is a no-no for me and is quite awkward. For this reason I do not get close to anyone. I have only one best friend and that is my boyfriend of 6 years.

I'm not into girls...yet I'd think that you'd treat this as you'd treat any other (guy or girl) that approached you and you were not interested...what do you do or say then? My guess is that you're reply would be "I'm flattered, yet I'm not interested". Don't see why person being bi, gay or straight would make any difference in how this is handled.

Well, simple. Tell her that you like her as a friend and wouldn't want to do anything to damage that relationship. Remind her that relationships can come and go, but friends last a lifetime.

Talk to her directly. Tell her your friendship means too much to you to get involved and you do not want to ruin anything you have by anything that may or may not happen in a relationship together.

Yeah that is really weird..... Honestly just tell her. And tell her that you don't want your friendship to be akward. But she's not the "girl of your dreams"

Hehe can I be?
