Yes, I do.

Although I remained 'sexually inactive' until my marriage night, I recall one particular date that resulted in a rather close call, after which I didn't have nearly enough time to go home to shower before going to school, and before going to high school, I had to run a few errands to my old middle school, where I met up with a variety of my former teachers, none of whom had ever actually hugged me before, but, on that morning, four of my more favorite lady former lady teachers not only greeted me with a very unexpected hug, but an extremely unexpected kiss on the cheek... the kind of thing that could have got them all fired nowadays..

A few weeks later, when I had occasion to return to the middle school for a similar set of errands, I got no such greeting.. but, a year or so later, when I had another similar close call after a date and didn't have the time to shower off.. it happened again.

There HAD to be something in the air.. and it HAD to be eminating from me.. and it HAD to be related to the hot-and-heavy hormones I had been cooking up inside while I was with those respective girlfriends, that had found their wayout.. and the only way it could have found it's way out, was through my sweat glands.

And none of those former teachers was any the wiser to it's possibilities.. because back then, social scientists were all claiming that humans don't emit pheromones.

As for me.. I admit that there are no perfumes that I find nearly as attractive on a woman than the scent of very-recently-shampooed hair, and a light sweat..

Depends on the people involved and their chemistry! Smell varies from person to person, and can vary on what they eat. So even if everyone washed with the same odour-free soap, I'm sure some would smell attractive and some wouldn't - to me at least.

They are called pheremones, and yes.

However, it could cause attraction between people of the same sex as well.

It also helps wih the bond between parent and child - animals and humans both can identify their own babies through smell, as can infants identify their own parents through smell.

While wikipedi isn't always a good source, these have been verified - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pheromone

The biology of this is pretty straight forward. If it's no longer effective, it's only because we've overloaded our noses with so many synthetic fragrances that we've lost our awareness of it.

There's a big difference between normal soap-and-water hygiene and going completely unwashed.

Personally, I think that's disgusting. However, there are others who have differing opinions. If they get off on that kind of thing, good for them. Just don't ask me to do it...

I think I need to take a shower now, just thinking about that... *lol*
