I 've heard this numerous times around where some gay people will say that because you don't act on your feelings you aren't considered gay. I totally disagree with this statement and I think it is unfair to new younger homosexuals that are trying to figure their sexual preference out. When i was younger, (I'm 30+ now) hearing this statement bothered me alot because I knew I was a lesbian from the get go. I didn't really feel comfortable with it though until I was in my 20's but ppl(friends) still said well your not because you hadn't acted on it? And I just feel that when your younger and whether it be woman/woman or man/man that turns you on or makes you think, look, and fantacise about your sexual preference that you should know then of who you are and it shouldn't be based if you acted on it or not. *What is your opinion on this topic? (Serious answers please)

First up, hold the hate mail: I'm a breeder that's very friendly with the LGBT community, and this is an actual question in two parts. The topic came up with friend the other night, so I thought I'd post it here.

1) Gay men are "gays", gay women are "lesbians," but "gay rights" are rights for all homosexuals. Is there a commonly accepted gender specific word to indicate a homosexual male that would be analogous to lesbian?
I've polled friends, and come up shy. The closest we've come is "fag" or "poof" but those have rather specific (and not always pleasant) connotations.

2) In the name of equality, what kind of derogatory names are there for heterosexuals?
Again, we found ourselves lacking. There are a few, but none seem to carry any weight. They're like calling a farmer a redneck.

As a note, this isn't meant to start a flame war, anyone getting out of hand or posting religious banter will gleefully be reported.

Comon folks... I noticed that a lot of us can be picky about our looks.... especially on the face. For some reasons I find the youthful women look much better than those who are more mature. Think of the youthful ones like Natalie Portman, Rachel Leigh Cook and the more mature like Julia Roberts, Naomi Watts, etc.

Anybody agree?

I was just reading some yahoo answers and this question came to mind. Lets say a male met this female and she was going to have a sex change to a male but they got married first before the surgery. Once they're a male is that marriage they had considered legal or void? And no I am not a transgender this just interested me and got me to thinking because I don't know.

I felt the way that they ended last season with Bette and Tina, Shane and Carmen, Alice and Laura was crap. And what about Kit and Mangus having a baby. What is the plan with the show, I am becoming less and less interested in the show.

I see that many celebrities are seen as beautiful in which i disagree. I see beauty as unique and distintive feature that are rare. Many celebs do not have this. Expecially without makeup they have flaws. There are also very few facial features that i have not seen distincitive at all. Ex. Beyonce is seen as beautiful. what does she has that I have not seen anyother person has? me honestly have not seen anything. I have actually seen women resemble her and/or has more unique looks than her? It makes me wonder if society portrayal of Beyonce has so much an influence that it intelligently persuades people to accept their ideal of beauty. If this is the case it is truly sad. it makes me think that we live in a country where indivduals are not independent thinkers. I honestly, think that Beyonce is pretty, but i do not find her beautiful. Her physical shape and facial features are not distinctive and rare, nor do exhibit anything exotic.

I am trying to get my teacher to like me. Her name is Ms. Ellen. She is really hot.
I love the way she talks. I love the way she walks. I love everything about her.
Chef says she will not like me because she is lesbian and lesbians only like other lesbians.
My mom says that lesbians lick carpets.
The guy at the record store told Stan that lesbians listen to the Indigo Girls.
Kyle says they like to wear Birkenstocks.

I have been licking the carpet in my living room while listening to the Indigo Girls and wearing Birkenstocks for 3 hours now.
But I am not sure I am a lesbian yet.
Can you help me?
