It depends on the crime and what type of person they are. I believe in second chances!

I try to think of the number of guilty people who have never been caught. Incarceration by itself means nothing. Also, in our society, the first thing we do is jail someone, anyone, THEN look for the facts. Also, we tend to jail the easiest ones to catch or the ones most likely to cop a plea, not the ones who pose the greatest threat to society. And finally, 1) we always make it a rule that parolees cannot associate with other parolees, even though they may provide the best support group for keeping them out of jail in the future, 2) we avoid hiring them for honest work, leaving crime their only source of income, 3) we don't allow them to live near honest folks who could serve as role models, and 4) we call them "penitentiaries" but they're just warehouses at best and schools for sharpening their criminal skills at worst. What a country!

You do the crime, you gotta do the time, straight up. Now as far as sexual relationships go, I fee like if you are having sex with people who are in jail it should be cause that's what you want to do, and you're not doing it just because you are in jail. So what would that matter any way. And being in jail doesn't make you a terrible person, it's what you do after and out of jail. Ya heard.

I would have to say each has their own story... Are they really guilty and of what? Murder, they should be viewed as low lifes and never be allowed any privileges as the victim has none left..Rape, well they are where they belong, don't drop the soap... People that batter or threaten someone else... they should be seeing therapists for the rest of their lives... Pedafiles, are where they belong and should stay...how do u like it??

In honesty, I view them a a criminal, and it puts them in a negative light. Sure, 1 in 100 people sent to prison are actually innocent, but then 10 out of every 100 found not guilty in a trial are actually guilty!

I've been there! It all depends on how long, what for, and so on...If you have been to prison then chances are that you have changed after such a long experience! I know I have and am not afraid to say that I was in prison! I really found myself and learned alot about me!

just like anyone else! my husband has been to jail twice now.... and i don't think any worse of him for such. he actually went for really respectful reasons and didn't have to stay long. but people make mistakes and learn from them! so it makes no difference whether one has been incarcerated or not!

Depends on the reason why. People can be in prison for anything from petty larceny to murder.
