i'm from nyc (well just outside originally --at border of yonkers/bronx)...and I'm gay and i am finding it more and more difficult on my own to go out to bars/clubs/restaurants---as everyone knows nyc is incredibly expensive....any suggestions for cheaper alternatives....by the way i have very few friends and nobody to go out with at all....

I have two friends who recently came out. They didn't "turn" straight because it's trendy, I believe they were born that way. Yet, before they came out they behaved and spoke like typical guys...but now they have completely succumbed to that stupid stereotype, lispy voice, "girlish" clothing, limp wrists and all.
I'm fully supportive of gay people and I believe they are equals to everyone else, but why do some of the men think they have to be like that just because they're gay? Most women don't even act like that. Don't people realize that following stereotypes hurts your demographic?

Ok, im having bad luck with relationships and what not with girls. So about a month ago. i was thinkin, what if im gay? (im 14) but im not attacted to guy and i dont wonna be with them sexualy. i think the reason i said that to myself was because i needed a reason that i didnt have luck with girls. i have been in love with girls before my hole life. sence i was like 4, i loved girls. and the past year i just ended a relationship with a girl i was truely in love with but she cheatd on me. so. but ever sence then my minds been eating at me sayin "what if ur gay, what would everybody think blah blah" and i tell myself over and over that im not but my mind keeps sayin mabye . and no offense to gay people or anything i dnt have a problem with them but i would rather die then be gay! i know that sounds mean, but i just really dont wonna be gay. i have gay friends once again and i dont have a problem with them. but is it normal for a 14 year old to question his sexuality? can somebody help me

is a "normal" lesbian couple complete opposites. like one is butch, the other femme or one is heavier and one is petite. I've noticed with a few lesbian couples that one will be a bigger, less feminine or plainer gal and the other will be smaller, cuter and spunkier. Is this common? What to the smaller, femmer one see in the more butch or soft butch type?
Side note, I'm not saying bigger girls aren't cute. I think everyone is attractive. To be honest the only ugly people out there are those with ugly hearts. Just wanted to save those people from wasting their time writing that I'm being prejudice because that's not my intentions.

Ok, I've heard so many things about how homosexuals are born gay or chose to be gay. And some of my friends think they choose. But personally i think its something you are born with because i didn't choose to be straight. but i decided to come to the professionals and ask them themselves. Why would you want to be gay as a teenager when there are so many hot singles who have NEVER dated and are gettin old(not me cuz I have a life time 2 date..lol)..its not like gurls are finished and u gotta move to guys! When people ask questions in the LBGT section about whether homosexuality is wrong, many people say that it's an abomination of God and/or it says so in the Bible. My question is, what makes you believe that God inspired the Bible? It just doesn't make sense to me, to me God is much bigger than one book. It seems like the Bible is preventing you from even considering the notion that homosexuality is something that we are born with. Why is it so hard to accept that maybe God did create us this way? I mean, just because it doesn't have a biological purpose, there are many things in this world that are a mystery. Why must we use the Bible to justify everything?

There is a transvestite I work with who is a person I have alot of respect for as she appears to stand up for what she believes in. However she was recently disciplined because of an error she made in her work and now she is claiming she is being discriminated against because she is a transvestite. She is taking her manager to a tribunial Is this taking things a step to far? Is there a cut off point for 'tolerance' of others' lifestyle in the workplace?
