most common and persistent problem TS have are not getting the hips we want, so my advice is to work the gluteus medius for hips and if you dont have a butt, work your gluteus maximus. simple exercises laying on the ground slowly lifting your legs building up muscle would be the best way. you feel the burn then your doing it right lol.

Probably a cardio workout (running etc.). And a "circuit type workout" when you do more reps less weight. Do the workout fast to keep heart rate high throughout. This will tone your body in general. Do all body groups. A gym will give you one free training session with membership. Ask them.
I had a friend that used to bind himself up with a corset-like contraption. He gradually changed his body by squeezing it into the shape he wanted. Eventually his body changed slightly. It was strange seeing my male friend with a little hourglass figure! Women used to do it in the 1950's. A real corset would do the trick. Take it off when you exercise.

I've got to say that from what my trans friends have told me, Julia and mntransgender's answers are the best. But also add in a few exercizes that strengthen your glutes (butt) it helps in filling out a more "girly" figure. Focus on lower body rather than upper body.

Cardio for sure on the upper body to get rid of bulk and fat. As for the lower half, get on hormones. They'll help your figure. Then decide on that to do. Maybe while you're waiting do some cardio just to keep yourself in shape if that's really important for you.

if you are passable and living 24/7 then go to a gym where it is women only or has a personal coach who will help you through a female orientated workout
i know i joined curves
eat healthy, exercise moderately and get enough sleep

dont bench press because then you will get big arms... not girly, but running is the best way to stay in shape, without getting all manly muscelly, and it makes you legs look oh so sexy!
