there is a co-worker of mine who is openly gay, she has a great personality and we get along great... so great one night we went drinking, came home together, layed down in bed together, then woke up in the morning and had sex together... i was the only guy she's been with in 5 years. It didn't change anything between us (told you she had a great personality).. but my question is if i try to make something out of 'us'.. do i stand a chance?

I mean, if a person is gay, is it bad to call them a homo or other nickname for being gay? Are they all offensive, even saying a person is gay when its even true. What do you think, are all these words bad, some are or its ok if its true?

Openly gay men - how do you feel about guys who are on the down low? Does it bother you that they come to you for sex, and go back to their wives for love and companionship? Or do you like the no-strings-attached sex, with no committment involved?

I was complaining to my gay friend that I haven't had a decent b***job in a long time. So he offered to do it. He was better than a woman.

What is going on with someone who was born a girl and who is attracted to males, but honestly feels as though she actually should have been born male, to the point where others have even noticed (her mother has always joked 'she's the son I never had', for instance)? This is not a revelation borne of extensive soul-searching; this 'girl' has ALWAYS thought of herself as a boy since her earliest memories. Are there a lot of people like this? Is there a name for this type of personality?

I told my best friend that I was bi a couple of months ago. She was worried and ok with it (at the same time) (she said she was behind me 100%). I promised that I wouldn't hit on her and that nothing would change. Well a couple of months go by, and I’m falling in love with her and I have no idea what to do. I know that she is straight but she is soooooo sweet and beautiful. And it sucks because when she hugs me i don't want to let go. She is the only person I can see my self with right now. I also can’t stop thinking about her. WHAT DO I DO? Help

I am in my 30's.

My question is how do you like being approached by a woman?

I don't want to seem too forward or needy, but do like showing interest.

What signals do you like to get from women to show interest?

Its true.

We know you need to be loved and G-d loves you. I saw a documentary on a man who was gay then found Jesus that was very touching.

He though Christians hated him and thats sad. I for one, love them and I have made friends with them. Most have had a childhood problem, usually a lack of a good father figure/male role model. So they relate to the feminie side so much, kids at school call them queer and they eventually believe it is the way they are.

Anyhow, I just want you to know that G-d loves you just as much as He loves me or my pastor or his wife. And I also love you.

Anyone can email me if you like.

I know there are so many ignorant idiots accusing you of sin, but Jesus said we are not to judge, but they do it anyways.

But do you think you are hated, or do you realize you are loved?

Blessings,
David

In addition to homophobia, I put up with racism, classism, and so many other problems. So why can't some wealthy, white GLBT people wake up and start supporting other causes, even those that don't directly affect their life?

I recetly found out that my younger sister (in her late teens) came out as bi a few months ago, at least to her friends. I am completely fine with it, and really not all that surprised. It's just that I don't know if our parents know (she still lives at home) or if she even wanted me to know. How do I broach the subject with her?

What do you think of Brokeback Moutain? Its a love story (kind of creepy) (nothing against gay people), but they kind of showed a little to much.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I fell in love with my best friend 3 years ago. I finally told her this past winter. She ended our friendship two months later, in April, breaking my heart. 8 months later, I am still heartbroken. I love her and miss her and want her to be with me. I just cannot say goodbye or accept that this is real, she is gone. How can I move on from this? I do not love anyone else, do not see how I can really love anyone else. I do not know what to do. I never had a relationship or even kissed, as I posted before. I feel devastated.

I asked a question here recently that basically asked ''why do people put ("sorry") after telling me I'm going to hell when I mention that I'm gay..?'' (Surely it's justified for them) It was briskly removed... I promise I wasn't trying to be offensive, just trying to establish why people who don't know me think I'm worthy of an eternal life of torment for falling in love with a member of the same sex when they aren't allowed (by their God) to judge me?

I'm kind of confused. From a religious perspective the joining of men and women in marriage is done in the eyes of god. It is to gain the "Almighty's approval" (so-to-speak). In government, marriage is a legal contract with peripheral benefits. The marriage can be terminated for any reason in either venue. United States is a country where a separation of church and state is "supposed" to exist. I can believe according to any religious belief I want to is the freedom I enjoy as an American. Also, I can adopt any set of ethical standards that I wish. It is my freedom recognized by the U.S. The government pushes for tolerance of homosexuals (mainly because of their votes). My question: Why is it okay for the government to force their morals on the rest of the populace? Gays are still Americans with the same rights. Secondly: Why do gays need the legal contract. Isn't finding someone who loves you enough. Your different by choice not birth so why do you fight for gay rights.

I just don't get the problem with this. All anyone ever says is "It is a joining between a man and a women." or "Being homosexual is a sin in the eyes of God." One is an antiquated perception of marriage. I mean traditional values is fine you your household, but the world hasn't stopped changing. The second is pushing your own religious ideals on another.

I must step on the homosexuals toes also. Why is it so important that the government acknowledge your mariatal status. The process is really for both of you to acknowledge each others exclusiveness to the other. Like a pinky promise. :) Now--when--in all of history--has a sexual act ever been justified as a grounds for governmental action. Seriously. Its like a beer commercial argument. "Taste great! No, Less Filling!" The one thing that shouldn't be happening is having acts that are meant to be private and personal out in the open. YOU DON'T NEED CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL TO SOLVE YOUR SEXUAL

Homophobia is still widespread in society. Some statistical data suggest that homophobes (people who hate gays) are psychologically sick. For example, when a homophobic muderer kills a gay person, the muder is usually committed in the most cruel and ruthless and barbarian way. The killer, for instance, usually stabs a gay person dozens of times instead of just one time. This shows that a homophobic criminal is somehow psychologically obsessed by the issue of homosexuaity. A nornmal person would not feel so passionately about who a total stranger sleeps with.

On the other hand, there are reasons to think that homophobes are not sick but simply immoral. Their hatred is based on immora impulses, although homophobes frequently justify their hatred with passages from the Bible, taken out of context.

So, which is it? Are they sick or just immoral?
