Exactly what canora said. There are some hormones, but not enough to make an effect. If the person had no hormones at all, then the hormones in birth control pills might be enough, but as it is, men have far too much testosterone in relation to estrogen, and taking birth control pills would only about even them out.

No, if a transsexual wants to do things effectively, they need to go to a doctor and get a prescription for actual hormones, not birth control pills.

yes but nothing that will be useful. typically they contain progesterone which isnt the E a mtf tran will need...and yes, they are in very low doses usually.
