Its true.
We know you need to be loved and G-d loves you. I saw a documentary on a man who was gay then found Jesus that was very touching.
He though Christians hated him and thats sad. I for one, love them and I have made friends with them. Most have had a childhood problem, usually a lack of a good father figure/male role model. So they relate to the feminie side so much, kids at school call them queer and they eventually believe it is the way they are.
Anyhow, I just want you to know that G-d loves you just as much as He loves me or my pastor or his wife. And I also love you.
Anyone can email me if you like.
I know there are so many ignorant idiots accusing you of sin, but Jesus said we are not to judge, but they do it anyways.
But do you think you are hated, or do you realize you are loved?
Blessings,
David

I appreciate the "Good Will Towards Gays from a Christian" gesture very much in the spirit in which you are intending! Thank you!
However to quote you,
"Most have had a childhood problem, usually a lack of a good father figure/male role model. So they relate to the feminine side so much, kids at school call them queer and they eventually believe it is the way they are."
Is pretty much a myth. Gays come from all types of family households, from the total dysfunctional to the "perfectly normal"...
Science has proved that Gays and Lesbians are simply wired that way while in the womb. It all has to do with hormones in the development of the fetus. Temperature fluctuations also play a part. Since childbirth is a miracle, leads me to believe that God made me this way!

It's usually fundamentalist christians who can't accept the glbt community as they are, and that's why the recent law that passed the gay civil unions in NJ isn't good enough... due to some law that states that a real marriage is between one of a man and a woman. It's not always the case of having had a bad childhood that someone doesn't have a role model, and not all gays relate to the "feminine" side like you mentioned. If your post is one of sincere encouragement, then I thank you.

If you loved gay and lesbian people you couldn't continue to misuse the Holy Bible to attack and vilify us.
I cannot imagine anyone I could ever hate enough to take God's holy word and twist it around and lie about it to make it seem that God doesn't approve of them.
I cannot imagine anything more sinful than misinterpreting the Bible on purpose and with malice.
I will pray for you.

I'm a Christian, and I am Gay, I believe G-d is with me always.
I did have an abusive childhood and turned to the women in my life for support, i think i went too far cos i became a drag queen (with no intention of having the chop).
G-d bless

"I saw a documentary on a man who was gay then found Jesus, ..."
Don't believe everything you see. I MET a man who told me that USED to be gay. But he was lying. He was still gay.
And there are Christians who love not only love homosexuals, they even accept homosexuality. I met a Methodist minister over 20 years ago that told me that my sexuality is not my choice, so therefore it is not my sin.

Thank you David.
How can it really be that much a sin. If you love somebody wholeheartedly? I mean like you could give your life for them & neot feel any regret in that. Does it really matter that the person you feel that way about is the same gender you are? How can that be a sin?

i agree w/ the first answer "christians hate sin, but love the sinner" ...or at least, thats how it should be.
remember, jesus gav his life for everyone, n everyone's sin. he said, let those that hav no sin cast the first stone, n since we are all sinners, people should judge others, like gays.
i dont think gays are sinners by simply bein gay, they are sinners b/c they are humans, just like u n me. so all those "christians" that persecute gays should really take into consideration that jesus did not condem the sinners, but rather protected n loved them. ....thats what's wrong w/ many people that call themselfs christians--they dont practice what they preach.

There are also gay people who are Christians who do not say they are closer to G-d to the point that they tell others how they should be living their lives.

There are always plenty of scapegoats around. Atheists and Muslims for example.
