Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - December 2006

I am a young woman but I want to be as masculine as possible. I kind of have the look down but not really, and my mannerisms can still be a little too feminine. So, keeping in mind that I cannot take T or have any surgeries (and that I don't really want to):

1. How tightly do I need to bind?
2. How much shorter should I cut my hair (3" already)?
3. What do I do about my voice?
4. Do I need to shave my face?
5. How much muscle tone should I have?
6. What are "manly hands" as opposed to "girly hands"?
7. Which is more masculine: glasses or contacts?
8. Should I cut down on my "high diction" when writing?

I would sincerely appreciate any help that you could offer me.

I don't want to seem like a softy but it's Christmas season and I have a small suggestion. Will someone on this board join me in making an agreement to spread love and kindness this weekend to your family and friends? I've never done something like this before and I think it would be neat. Just make a pact with me that you will try your best to stay positive and kind all this weekend. If not, then that's cool too. It's obvious I'm a Christian, I know. lol

okay i think if you are being bisexual to be "cool" or "in" its DISGUSTING and it makes you an attention carving w.h.o.r.e.but i think if you truly are bisexual and stick to your morals then its okay because you arent being fake.

I got dumped a week ago...out of my lover/friend's house and in my sister in laws...what can I do to make myself get over him? I can't even type his name because it makes me upset to be broken up on the holidays. I want to move on but I am not over it yet. I called him and he tells me not to call and hangs up. Like being gay... I am gay and I don't understand why is is anyone's business but my own. I believe that I am I Christian while other so called "Christians" ridicule me and call me names saying that I am going to burn in hell for sinning, etc. First, in the Bible, God commands us to love one another and not to judge. He is the only one to judge. Second, also in the Bible, it says that all sins are the same, none are greater or smaller than any other. So I ask the question why judge me when you are not supposed to? A true Christian would try his best to not judge anyone. Another question is if what I am is a sin then why do they not ridicule those who cheat on there spouses or those who lie or steal for any reason the same as they ridicule me?

Why is it that being bisexual is so offensive to people - gay and straight? "You're confused", "You're greedy", "Choose", "Make up your mind" - I mean really why is it that bisexuality is so hard to understand - and surely if you are gay or straight is is not something you could conceive anyway - as sexuality is an individual issue not a means of pigeon-holing. Im sick of being labelled "confused" and "greedy" when I am what I am, I have no issues with others sexuality - I dont call straight people narrow-minded or gay people picky - you are what you are! Why the hate? :)

Since I don't know who is patrolling this website, I'm going to start out saying I have this "friend". So I have this friend who is in the military and she has had a gf for over two years. She joined the military last february. Her girlfriend and her and still together, in fact she is stationed only four hours away from her home town and her gf moved up there and got an apartment. They are doing great. Her gf is very supportive, optimistic, and EXTREMELY understanding. The military one has been thinking about career options and is not sure if she will re-enlist (3 years from now), but that's not the point. Her gf is supportive if she wants to stay in or get out. But,the one in the military is concerned..is hiding yourself, your partner, your "other" life, worth a career? Even if it's a great career? They are very careful and the military one is thriving in her career, and things are great. But, it has to eventually get old hiding...but maybe not...I don't know...what do you think?
