Aaahh! One of the benefits of being a handsome ol' butch. I get away with this all the time, also great when buying anything typically seen as a 'guys' thing' .....cars, tools etc. means you dont get treated like a brainless bimbo.

I'm a straight guy and picked the question up off the front of the questions but thought that I would answer it from my point of view. I'm older and a woman coming into the restroom is not that big of deal because most of the places the urinals are partitioned and as long as you don't step into the stall while I'm sitting on the can, I don't take that from anybody as a person should be able to do that in peace, I don't care. If you've got to go you've got to go and I understand that women take a little longer and a lot of times the women's restrooms have huge lines.

Respect, that's the key, you probably shouldn't point at someone whether you get a glimpse or not and start laughing and making rude comments.

Hope this helps.

I've never been mistaken for a male -- but when there was a huge line at the ladies room at a recent sporting event, and no one at the mens room--I stomped over to the mens room, walked in and did what I really (REALLY) had to do. A couple of raised eyebrows (mostly from the boys at the urinals). I just washed my hands, told them to carry on, and walked out. A toilet is a toilet--and if I gotta go I don't care what the sign on the door says!!!!

Only if there is a lock for the door so a guy can't come in on you! Also don't let a guard or salesperson or someone else who might get you in trouble see you. I won't go there on the whole "I've been mistaken for a male because of my appearance" part :)

You should be careful as there's a game some young lads have been playing around some of the Northern Cities of the UK. Newcastle, Manchester, York, Leeds...

2 of my female friends who've went into mens toilets and were a bit drunk and decided to carry on and comment about the guys who were going in the urinals had their nights completely spoiled when one of lads turned around and splashed them with urine. I know totally barbaric!

Anyway this has been happening more and more often. Apparently some lads are just pissing on any lass who walks into the mens... I don't know, what's the world coming to?

I've done it, when it's a "one-holer." Certainly not the communal-urinal sort! Now that I'm older no one takes me for a male, tho they used to when I was in my 20's. But I figure, if the men's is unoccupied and it's a singleton, hey, the only person who might have a problem about it is me, right? Your pride goes right out the window when you're about to pee yourself and there are 10 women in front of you in the line!

I don't look anything like a man but if I have to go and there is a line then I will and have gone into the mens room. If they have issues too bad. Mostly they just say hey no problem and move on.

I'm a big fan of women's music and as such I've been the only man...or one of a tiny group of men at many concerts...so I've shared the Men's room with a lot of women...not a problem for me.

Sounds ok to me. I've only done this twice though and only when the women's room are empty and the men's room are unoocupied. I don't think most men give a hoot, except if they are ultraconservative. When nature's calling... you got to go.
