There is no exact time to tell what is to long still being heartbroken.
You have this obsession for this girl.
That is not good for you.
You need to go out and try to get in touch with a girl you deserve.
You told her that you loved her ,she did not feel the same.
But you are still obsessing about her.
Try anything to get your mind of her.
In time you will get over her,but you need to let go.
Be active,do some sport, get socially active.
Anything to keep your mind of her.
You will see:suddenly she is there:the right one for you,who will love you back.
I wish you all the best, but get your a ss out there
greetings:Rob
Merry X-mas

Everybody is different in how long they take to get over heartbreaks, but I think 8 months is stretching it. Are you mourning Sarah, or are you still just freaking because you were rejected and never thought it could happen to you?

Either way, put it behind you and move on, or next you'll be mourning all this time and effort you're wasting on one past event that you can do nothing about.

Some good advice when things don't go your way:

FEEL
DEAL
HEAL

One can wait forever if when you love someone. Ifshe is rejecting you then that is a different story. Perhaps you will need to move on an let by gone be by gones. 8 months ago then that is too long to tally. Then you have not seen her since. Go on with your life and seek a new and better friend.

There are no time limits on healing a broken heart. The public always seems to assume that you are over someone--when you're not even close to that.
