Like being gay... I am gay and I don't understand why is is anyone's business but my own. I believe that I am I Christian while other so called "Christians" ridicule me and call me names saying that I am going to burn in hell for sinning, etc. First, in the Bible, God commands us to love one another and not to judge. He is the only one to judge. Second, also in the Bible, it says that all sins are the same, none are greater or smaller than any other. So I ask the question why judge me when you are not supposed to? A true Christian would try his best to not judge anyone. Another question is if what I am is a sin then why do they not ridicule those who cheat on there spouses or those who lie or steal for any reason the same as they ridicule me?

Because it is easier to find a perceived fault with another than face an actual fault of one's own.

Also, many Christians say that they only commit a few sins here and there and are forgiven every Sunday while gay people live a life of sin because the gender of who they love isn't the same as theirs. Many (but not all) Christians are hypocrites when it comes to judging gay people.

Since you say you are Christian, note that even the Bible acknowledges this fact of human nature in Matthew 7:3-4: "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?"

Sad to say, but that's just how most people are. Religion seems to make people more judgemental than anything else. So all you can do is live your life, be the best person possible, and try to learn something new every day. Stay away from the negatives... Life gets better!

The people who judge us are the ones who need to look at themselves in the mirror and see what kind of people they are. What we do does not harm or affect them. They should just go about their lives without involving us at all.

Sweetness, as long as you're being kind and good to people, you're doing what Jesus would have done. As for the others...it never was between you and them anyways. It's between you and God and He already knows how you love Him. Just Love. Blessings.

These are people who can only see themselves with respect if they see others who differ with complete disrespect. They can only be right if others are wrong.
