If you are speaking of personal experience and are not exaggerating, I think that the state's Child Protective Services should know about it.

I think every child think there parents treat them like a slave. My daughter has 3 things she has to do daily. Keep her room clean, put away the clean already dried dishes, and feed and water her dog. If you ask her she will tell you she is treated like a slave. Her chores take her a mater of 15 to 20 minutes depending on how messy her room is. The rest of the day is basically hers after school work is completed. Go figure.. But if your parents are actually working you to the point you do everything in the house, I feel for you but I don't think there is much you can do about it because Children's protective services will not see that as a sign of abuse.. Good Luck to you..

It is up to you to stop it. Sit down and talk to them, tell them how you feel. Most parents (good ones) want their kids to excell and they give them many chores to build a kid into an adult. By being active in the family you grow faster than most youth and you will be ready to be on your own when the time comes. And you should do better out in the world.
Now, I do not agree with lazy parents who push all the work on the kids. That is not right. If this is the case tell them you will only do your fair share. Make a list of what you think is resonable and present it too them. Make sure the list of chores is adequate.
If you tell them you want weekly meetings with your parents to discusss the running of the home what would they do? If they are not acting like parents you be the better person and devise ways to get the household running smooth so everyone is happy. Ask them is Sunday afternoon at 2 pm will work for them for this meeting. You come to the meeting prepared not only with a list of changes and gripes but also with a list of things you appreciate and like. If you balance this list you parents wont feel like you are attacking there athority or trying to be the boss. Just show them how mature you can be. No shouting match (you wont win) and no bad language or behavoir. Make sure you thank them for what they do for you too. By being appreciative they will be more lenient with you.
I really suggest you start reading self-help books out there. They can really help you learn to solve family problems in a structured way. Try Dr. Phil or Dr. Dwyer. It cant hurt.
Good Luck and never give up on your happiness.

Your parents sound like clones of my parents!!! I had a curfew until I graduated from college at 22!!! I know right? Just be nice. Someday you might need your parents to help you out in a sticky situation. Do what you can to help around the house, because they aren't charging you rent, and I guess you can kind of consider your work in exchange for a roof over your head for free. Just do your chores early in the day then go to a friends house the rest of the day. Find some crafts or a hobby that keeps you occupied enough to deal with them. That's kinda what i did. The minute you gain enough money to get out.... do so!

Parents can only treat you like a slave if you think and act like a slave. Get off the blame game, God (or Darwin) gave you a mind, use it.

I don't think it's right. However, as the saying goes, there's a reason for everything. Somehow, you'll come out of it a better and stronger person.
