they are telling lies about islam everywhere,trying to deform the true image of islam and muslims,the media in the U.S took the role of the ememy to islam,what's going on,where are the values of living with the others in peace and showing respect.Hitler killed millions of people in world war 2 and he was a christian,should i accuse all the christians of being murderers for that?

The difference is that Christians, as a whole, speak out against their lunatic fringe (Hitler, Phelps, etc). For Islam, not only do the normal people not speak out against the lunatics, it clearly appears that the majority of Muslims actually support them.
A newspaper in Florida asked a very appropriate question in an editorial a while back - Who can name three conflicts on this earth where Muslims are not involved?

Because it is easier to paint people who share a similar trait with a broad brush and label them all as this or that without taking the time to know them as individuals. Many people lump all Muslims together and it is rare to find even a rudimentary understanding in the west of the differences between Shi'a and Sunni Muslims, much less other sects such as Wahhabism.
Muslims have traditionally been viewed negatively in the west due to the strict corporal punishments in Muslim counties. These punishments are not lies, they are facts. The US African embassy bombings, the 9/11 attacks, the London subway attacks, the Madrid train attacks, and the Mumbai train attacks were all carried out by Muslims and the majority of Muslims were either quiet or celebrated these attacks. At one point in time, I sympathized with the Palestinian people, but my feelings dramatically changed with the pictures of Palestinians celebrating the 9/11 attacks. The torture of Ilam Halimi in the democratic country of France further distanced me finding room in my heart to support followers of Islam.
It can be understood that those living in Islamic dictatorships cannot feel free to have their voice heard due to the oppressions and threats of death, therefore it is up to the Muslims in free societies to show that they prefer peace. Unfortunately, the silence of most Muslims leads others to view them as complicit in their support of terrorism.

Because there are not many "positive" images of muslims out there. I think that is the biggest problem. The media only portrays the violent muslims like the taliban. They tend to not focus on the every day muslim who's live amongst us. People base their judgement on what they see, and the only image for "Islam" on TV today is the violent one. I think we as muslims need to put forth a positive image for ourself before we ask others whether they see us or not.

The 'Hey, we're not as bad as Hitler' approach is rarely one you want to have to resort to.
If you'll notice, he's absolutely vilified by just about everyone in the west, aside from the stupid *********** who are sending out the blatant lies about Islam.
That said, your equivalents to our idiots are causing holy hell over every little twitch the rest of the world makes and people really don't want another real war on their hands, so while the sane people on our side try to deal with the lunatics on your side, the lunatics on our side piss off your lunatics more, which is causing more problems. A little help from the sane people on your side of this could help a lot. Next time someone tries to declare a holy war over a cartoon, smack them upside the head, and keep doing it till they learn.

well the reason the west dont like islam, is cause alot of terorists are islamic, 9/11 was from islamic terorists and no was not christian, he was unreligous,also it seems to me like they are a violent religoun,with all the holy wars and such
