Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - September 2006

I consider myself hetero but i could have sex with a woman, but i dont necessarily consider myself BI. Do gay people, guys in particular ever wanna have sex with a woman. Lesbians can answer this too but i notice a lot of lesbians hate the dick.

Over 50 percent of straight marriages end in divorce. It seems to me that little institution is pretty much ****** already. I would therefore like to be allowed to marry my girlfriend.

Why do only young people consider themselves bi?
Why do older people ends accepting that they're gay or just straight?
Why do everyone wants to be bisexual? What's so great about that?

I was watching a film, Stand By Me, and half way through my jaw dropped! I fancied one of the male characters! I must have been about 11 or 12, but before that point in the film I had been interested in girls, not boys. I loved the girls at school, and never thought of a boy in that way until half way through the film, it's like it triggered something inside me. I was just sat there, and couldn't believe what was happening. Quite scary actually.
Anyway, I'm 21 now and proud to be gay/bi whatever I am (still not figured that out!) but I finally accepted I liked lads when I was 17, about 6 years in denial, probably because I have homophobic parents.

Today I came the closest I've ever been to coming out to my mother. And, I just panicked and began changing the subject. My mother is actually my closest friend, but I can't seem to bring myself to reveal to her what I've already embraced in my private life. I know that she's had suspicions about me being gay, and I know that she'd prefer me to be gay than to be bi, which I am (though I lean more to women).

If I told her I'm bi, she'd freak out. If I told her I'm gay, she'd drop down on her knees and, "Thank God!". I know her. Should I just tell her I'm gay because I seem to like women a bit more? I've always fought with my peers that bisexuality is a real orientation, so I know that would be hypocritical of me, but would it really hurt if she thought that I'm only interested in women?

the women are usually hurt and the chidren what about how the children will feel.i think that everyone should just be there selves at all times and always honestly is the best policy in all relationships.

There was this guy at the gym, in his early 50s. (I'm legal, so don't worry). I swear he was flirting w/ me, but then I noticed he had a gold earring in his left ear. Sometimes i feel like i'm 100% straight like with a burst of love towards guys and sometimes i get so confused whether i'm les or not. when i'm in my confused mode, i try to pretend i'm les and imagine what they think (as i do with guys) but i still feel a sort of strangeness. i'm 16

I think he is pathetic... the only reason he makes all of these non-sense comments is just to get our attention. He is lonely and just want to prove his very existence through these annoying (or interesting, depends on how you look at it) comment. Something must make him feel very lonely... I believe. Agree? Should we show him that he is not alone?

I fall into this category, less then a year ago I realised I was gay.. and it took me this long to recognise. I have yet to have any 'experiences' but I know I'm gay as it just makes too much sense. But I would like to know if I am a completely minority or this is a regular occurance. It has been a strange year and it would be good to hear from someone with a similar experience.

why do people hate gay people and say that if you are gay or bi you go straight to hell when the only unforgivable sin is saying there is no god without taking it back b4 you die. some of my best friends are bi and i still am friends with them. the bible does say that marriage is between man and women. that doesn't exactly mean now. that was then. god came as jesus and died on the cross for our sins. this is the way i look at it. there is no reason to be stoned (hit with rocks metaphore). even if i stand alone this is what i say. 'being gay isn't a terrible thing. its' not even a bad thing.' i think its wrong to harrass people that are this.

Canada has always demanded the separation of church and state.
We have freedom of religion, however we don't have a "state religion" in Canada. The government does not interfere with the various methods of spiritual rites in the many religions in the country. Similarly no one religion should be able to dictate to state politicians how they should vote on an issue.
What are your opinions?
