Why do some White people always take a minority's side side on an issue? Why do some White people feel like they have to prove that they're not racist? Why do some White people defend Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson? Why do some White people support race based affirmative action? Why do some White Americans feel guilty about America's racist past?

If African-American woman or man on the street and ask for your cell phone to call there mom or dad for something urgent, Whould you let them use your cell phone?

The reason why I ask this because there still racism towards African-Americans and this go for all races!

I'm an 18 year old English girl and what i was wondering if High school is anything like the way it's portrayed on t.v. like with different social cliques who don't get along with each other etc. What clique are you or were you in at High school? I know it's a stupid question but in my school it wasn't like that and i'm just curious! Thanks!

I visit a 94 year old English widow once, twice a week. She's legally blind and almost stone deaf. Nonetheless, this does not stand in her way: she has her own apartment which she maintains without help, cooks, watches TV (with difficulty), listens to letters which I've read into her tape recorder, then writes and answers them in a flourishing but crooked manner. She quilts, puts down preserves, is an amazing Scrabble player, goes on bus tours and last but not least, is a member of a walking club. I hate that woman for two reasons: she makes me feel inactive & lazy and secondly, she can beat me in Scrabble, one of my favourite games. Seriously, she is a fantastic inspiration for me and others who sometimes become incapacitated out of boredom. Is there anyone in your life like this feisty old dame?

I am doing a project for Texas Cultural history and I have read a bunch of books, but Asians in Texas have not been mentioned as much as I would like. If there are any Asian Texans who can give me some help, I would appreciate it. If you are of mixed blood that is great as well. I would like to hear, first hand, what you think Asians have contributed to Texas culture, why your Asian family left the home country, and why they chose Texas to settle. I know how most of the Asians were treated in the "old days" in Texas, but I wonder how the new genereation is getting along. Are you treated differently? Any imput like that would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently a couple were driving along in a place called Manson in Washington, and all of a sudden a cow landed on the bonnet (Hood) of their car. It had fallen off a cliff. It was a rodeo cow called Michelle that had escaped.The couple were OK but the cow was not. Now I know that I do have a warped sense of humour as although I did feel sorry for them, especially the cow, I just had to laugh. Is it just me?

A FIREMAN came home from work one day and told his wife, 'You know, we have a wonderful system at the fire station: BELL 1 rings and we all put on our jackets, BELL 2 rings and we all slide down the pole, BELL 3 rings and we're on the fire truck ready to go.

I hate to brake it to all of you, but news flash. You can be a Christan and gay at the same time. I know tons of people that are. Oh, let me guess, you are going to start quoting those bible verses that say that homosexuality is an abomination. Well, let me let you in on a little secret. Back when the Bible was first written, the Bible sayed nothing about homosexuality. It referred to men who prayed on children. Man is the one who added homosexuality to the bible. Second, if you can't be gay and a Chistian, then you can't be an alcoholic and a christian, a theif and a christian, you can't be anything that the bible goes agianst and a christian. All you folks being judgmetal are obviously not Christians, so you can't tell me who to do my religion. Get a life and stay out of mine. I know who my God is and if He has a problem with me being gay, believe you-me, He will do something about it, for His word says "Come to me as you are and I will change you."

i have a postcard which has a group picture of 25 men in whites with black or dark coloured ties which are not identical and 1 chap who is dressed in black with a white starched shirt and collar and white dickie bow tie on it. I am thinking that they are some some of sports team. Any ideas.
