Why don't gay men want to be with a women?

can it be that they are afraid of rejection of the oppositive sex,
or afraid that they won't measure up(from whatever their insercurities may be)?
How can a man not appreciate and enjoy the wonderment of a woman. Women are wonderful, and their bodies are are beautiful and so acommadating to a men.

Too many people excuse the illness of homosexually as it being a normal state, which is not.
We are not helping the gay community by condoning their sexual preference.
They need love, and help.

Uh, you gonna call the whole medical establishment wrong on this one? APA 1973 DSM IV rescinded homosexuality as a disease. Despite all the rhetoric over its removal, nobody has been able to show credible evidence that it is not normal.

You are correct on one account: everyone needs love and help. But not for the reasons that you imply.

If you go on the premise that homosexuality is a choice, I have one question for you Asker: When did YOU choose to be heterosexual? You must have at some point compared the benefits and costs of each choice and then decided to be straight. That's what you're saying when you claim that homosexuality is a choice.

The choice comes from living an authentic life instead of living a lie or having someone dictate how I should live and what I should be.

I take it from your question and follow up posts that you do not believe that gay men and women are born gay, but it is a choice they make. Nothing could be further from the truth, but I'm not going to debate you on that issue. To answer your question -- I find absolutely nothing fascinating, wonderful, or interesting about a woman's body. Frankly, they do absolutely nothing for me. Having denied my gayness for years, and actually having been married (to a woman), I can honestly answer that I find sex with a woman very unpleasant, and... well... kind of gross. The only way I was able to maintain myself long enough to satisfy my (now ex) wife was to fantasize about men while "doing it." Why would I continue to put myself in a situation where I got absolutely nothing out of it, and had to pretend???

You might as well ask why don't straight men want to be with men?

Gay men just don't find women's bodies sexually stimulating. Most gay men have tried having sex with women and have just found it rather boring. It is not that they have any fear about it or any repulsion. Their brains just aren't wired up to respond to that stimulus.

Some people in the world (men or women) are sexually oriented towards male bodies and some towards female.

If you are straight then imagine trying to have sex with a man. Would you find it a stimulating and arousing experience? No- thought not...

Just don't get it, do you. Guys that are not attracted to women, just aren't. Has nothing to do with any insecurities or fear of rejection; hell, being a gay guy has to be tough since there are enough insecurities and fear of rejection that will occur in having to deal with potential male partners. As a bisexual, I can say both sexes are fine, and fun to be with. But I can understand that gay males may just not have a thing for women, which is why they are GAY.

Yes, it is true that woman's bodies are accomadating to men, but gay men are attracted to MEN. They like the penises. It is like when you and I are attracted to men. That's how they are.
