I do, but then I think: You can still stand up for your principles. I'm a human rights acitivist. I still work with survivors of torture and there's still time for me to make a difference.

does bust size matter?!

As much as i would like to think so, i dont think it will ever end.

Aside from peoples personal beliefs and ideas, what about groups like the NAACP (just as and example, not picking out). Seems like as long as there are groups aimed towards specific ethnicities, its not going to end. Not to say that is the reason it exists but does it help the problem?
Even tests in schools where you have to tell them your race. . i dont get it . . it shouldnt matter especially in schools . . i'm half "white" and asian . . but i'm required to say that i am asian when asked . . and as bad as sad as this is, i know nothing about my asain culture or background . . but i still have to say i'm asain.

Its one of those age old questions that will probably be around for ages to come. What are your thoughts?

So I'm just wondering what others think. If someone immigrates to America, do you think that it is only right that they should learn and speak English?

Of course, do not lose your cultural background, but I think that they should.

Don't call me a racist.
Don't call a bigot.
Don't call me prejudice.
It's just an asking for opinions, so calm down.

Thanks for reading! :))))

The label ethnic is applied to various people, as well as things such as food, jewelry, hair, artwork etc. There is even a group on yahoo that is labeled "Ethnic Food" I've often wondered about this labeling, and how it applies if at all to White people, particularly those in the West, or if it is indeed a category for all things non-white?

Okay, not exactly on topic, but since i am a feminized guy, thought this group might be more helpful! What would be a good hairstyle that is extremely feminine on a guy? My hair is really short now (maybe 2") but with side swept bangs down to my cheek. The goal is to make it edgy, VERY feminine, with no way to mask it as a masucline style. We have been thinking of Posh's style, but it has a lot of growing to do for that. So what are some ideas as it grows?? Any pictures with examples would be appreciated.

I like this girl, and she knows i'm lesbian i told her myself when she asked did i have a boyfriend. but i'm afraid to tell her because i don't want to jeopardize our friendship. But i've been liking her for a while every since the beginning of the year. i just don't want to scare her off or nothing but it's odd when i told her i was lesbian she really didn't have a reaction or surprised. usually when ppl ask that ..they are surprised. but every since then we talk a lot more. but this thursday she has offered to braid my hair and i'm thinking about telling her should i or should i not??

Thanks for your advice

By my brother and his football team, and Dad once had a talk with me then that was it. I am talking about Aunts and Uncles and cousins and what not. I have an older cousin who lives in Virginia, very religous family, and at a family BBQ this summer his wife came up to me and said "Do you mind if I use you and your guy as an example to my kids of just what a gay relationship should be?"

At first I was a little taken aback in an embarassed sort of way, so I told her not to make a big deal of it now, but later in private I think it would be lovely.

Now keep in mind that all these years he has come with me to weddings and funerals and holiday celebrations.

My way of looking at it is that none of them ever came to me for approval of their relationships. I automatically accept who they chose. I think it's what family does. I did tell my close circle of friends and told them it's really on a need to know basis. They told me, Dude, we're not stupid. It's cool.

Is this unusual?

I believe if the straight people do not want gay people to get married because it lessens the sanctity of marriage, then shouldn't it be illegal to get a divorce? If there is anything that lessens the sanctity of marriage, it would be divorce.

Serioiusly.. people are always saying we are all the same.... bullshit. We are not the same... different races have many differences, but I have yet to see a difference that makes one race better than the other. We should all examine and reflect on our differences. Then we can truly accept and respect them. I am sickened at the amount of hate that still exists out there between us. And it comes from all races, people want to demonize the white racists more than others I think, but to me they are all equal in their stupidity. I am 'white' and I am proud of my family's heritage and background. I also see and greatly respect the heritage, trials and tribulations of other cultures. We all inhabit this speck of dust floating in the cosmos and we will never further our race, the human race, until we can all work together. Think about this for a second... if all nations got along and worked together we would easily be inhabiting Mars by now and God knows what else. I am out of charachters now

I notice this happening here even on Yahoo answers. This is a free country so I assume people should be able to date who they want without some racists yelling down their throats. I cant count how many times I have been treated harshly by some black guys when they see Im with a black woman. Why are people so backwards?

To follow up on my previous question about my son taking my money. I was sitting here thinking "what am I going to do? My car is right on empty, I havent had any protein to eat in weeks, I cant swallow anymore rice. All I have is canned vegetables. I NEED meat, some fruit & I am out of water too."

So I asked God "help me please, I NEED to eat, I am going to get really sick if I dont."

Then I remembered a lottery ticket I had bought several weeks ago. was talking to my friend online and I was teasing him that if he checked his ticket when I was with him he always won. I remembered my ticket, checked and found out I had won $65 !!!

I put $15 worth of gas in my car, bought two steaks for $2.50 each, not very big ones, but each big enough for a meal, some fish, two porkcops, some squash, three potatoes, three oranges, an apple, and some water. Then I got carried away & splurged on sushsi for $2.99 because I have been craving wasabi. I feel rich, thank you God.

I don't mean sex! I am a 52 year old single female who left a 30 year marriage. I iss having someone to just talk to or sit and watch a movie with. Guys are either looking only for sex (which I am not) or their "soul mate" which I am not either. I just want a guy friend who's not attached to hang around with. Is that asking to much? I have looked inot the gay friend-but they are usually attached and their partner is jealous. Are there older single men out there who would have a platonic relationship with someone? How do you find them?

MacGyver
Starsky & Hutch
Charlie's Angels
Jack O'Niell
Elliot Stabler
Bobby Goren

It has to be in the air to be asking some of the more silly questions tonight.

I haven't seen a fat avatar on yahoo answers yet. Or an old one for that matter.
What is yahoo implying?
That we are all young and skinny?
Why is yahoo answers contributing to the raising health problems caused by bad self-image and the mass media?
Should we complain to the execs about having skinny avatars?
