My partner works away, and while he is gone, I have to record games for him, then he spends a lot of time when he is at home, watching them. This can be a bit irritating. Also, he is British and I record NFL. He is supposed to like football(soccer) for goodness sake. At least I understand that! No disrespect, but I just don't get it.

I have discussed this with several different women, almost as an experiment. Men always seem to have the same complaint: Why don't women want it more? Why don't they do what I want? Well that is a two part answer--A lot of men are horrible at sex (no foreplay/too quick) and men don't understand that sex is more emotional with women: You can't be rude to a woman all day and expect her to happily jump into bed with you despite what television says. You also can't lay around all day and ignore her except when you decide it's time to be intimate. Sometimes it seems men are a whole other species altogether. Maybe all men should have to take a course in being husbands when they are very young.

Perhaps sensitivity being what it is?

My search is not in condemnation as pity, but reality, where dellusion and denial are a reactionary act not fantasy?

Knowing some folk react and some deny, does yahoo answers formulate an area of forumn where we can remove our own questions? Hardly fair questions get removed for fears?

Coping skills are significant in mental wellness. An ounce of prevention worth a ton of cure, sure ban this question too?

Reality? Honesty, even if it hurts is a coping skill. Being balanced not just positive.

An ivory tower, was once used as China traded African Elephants to represent a place to store the dead ashes of relatives, a pagoda. In context, there is nothing offensive in being open to state, some create a false world to be able to cope, danger & folly are where this effects other folk too?

Society is reactionary, in fairness, yahoo can also allow questioners to remove their own questions too?

If society only reacts? Is it real & How?

Loads of people stereotype people into certain groups. I.e. Emo, goth, chav, townie etc etc
Personally I think it is just like being racist. It's discrimination if you like.
Anyone PROUD to be labelled?
Or do you think everyone has their own personalities and shouldn't be put into 'groups' just by the way they dress and/or music tastes?

What's your view?

If you don't have a sense of humour you may not want to read this!

A turkey says to his pal the bull "I'd love to get to the top of that tree"

The bull says " Why don't you nibble on some of my droppings? they are full of nutrients and you should be strong enough to reach up there quite soon."

So the turkey gobbles up some of the bulls waste every day for the next week.
By then he is proudly perched in the top of the tree.

Unfortunately the farmer spots him and shoots him out of the tree.

Moral of this story :
Bull**** might get you to the top,
but it won't keep you there!

It has occured to me in seeing many questions on here that, when it comes down to it we are all a part of the human tribe. No matter our origin or roots, we are all of the same being. All opinions are welcome. Can anyone elaborate?

Oh Boy...do I know how this feels...hehehehe

A is for apple, and B is for boat,
That used to be right, but now it won't float!
Age before beauty is what we once said,
But let's be a bit more realistic instead.

Now:
A's for arthritis;
B's the bad back,
C is the chest pains, perhaps cardiac?

D is for dental decay and decline,
E is for eyesight--can't read that top line!
F is for fissures and water retention
G is for gas, which I'd rather not mention.

H is high blood pressure--I'd prefer low;
I for incisions with scars you can show.
J is for joints, out of socket, won't mend,
K is for knees that crack when they bend.

L is lost hearing--now what did you say?
M is memory lapses occurring all day.
N is neuralgia, in nerves way down low;
O is for osteo, the bones that don't grow!

P for prescriptions, I have quite a few;
Just give me a pill and I'll be good as new!
Q is for queasy. Is it fatal or flu?
R is for reflux--one meal turns to two.
S for sleepless nights, counting my fears,
T for tinnitus; there are bells in my ears!

U is for urinary; big troubles with flow;
V is for vertigo--that's "dizzy," you know.
W is for worry. NOW what's going 'round?
X is for x-ray and what might be found.

Y is another year I'm left here behind,
Z is for zest that I still have--in my mind.

Hi, LGBT peoples! I have found the one for me, the one that is going to make me happy for the rest of my life. My question to you fine people is: what are the little things, the snippets of advice that you can give, that keep a relationship healthy and exciting? Anything would be wonderful - I have never wanted something to work more in my life. Thanks for your life advice!

I've been in therapy on this issue and have come to the sad conclusion that I would rather be alone and miserable than act out on my attractions, because the guilt and shame I would feel would be too immense and unbearable.

Also, I think I would rather die a virgin than risk going to hell for giving in to my attractions and being with another man sexually.

I mean no offense in asking this; I am just seeking guidance from anyone who can offer it. Thanks!

Before I am criticized for posting this question I would like to start of by saying that each of us no matter how small - have a tendency to be disturbed when seeing certain interracial couples. I know that most of us do not want to think that way and most of us normally would not comment on it but I wanted to post this question to those who would like to come out of the closet to make a statement. It is not in anyway racist but I'm looking for an honest and respectable answer. Again, I know that we try to stay away from these thoughts but sometimes its in our nature. So again, let's just be honest.

As for me I am mostly disturbed by a person of one race, any race, that exclusively chooses not to date within their race. I have always been proud of who i am (I'm latino) and can't understand why someone would make that type of decision - obviously lets just say if they haven't had any know traumatic experiences within their race. Again, I try not to think that way, but I can't help it

I go to a high school with over 4000 students. We are very diverse and we have students from all over the world. During classes and in the hallways, you see students of different races talking together and you can tell they are good friends.
However, you walk into our huge cafeteria, and toward the back are the whites, to one side are the asians, to another side are the hispanics, to one end are the blacks...and so forth.
Why do you think this is?
