I do, but then I think: You can still stand up for your principles. I'm a human rights acitivist. I still work with survivors of torture and there's still time for me to make a difference.

Some mornings before that injection of caffeine and nicotine I sometimes feel a bit iffy.
I can still stand up for myself, most of the time, and have the same ideals I had 40 years ago.
I admire anyone who will fight for their beliefs, it would be a very sad world if we all agreed on everything.
Good Luck, I wish you well.

I think I should be. I am 73 but I recently did 4 days hard work as a maid serving and clearing 3 meals a day with two tea breaks and a last night party and helping in the kitchen. I was tired at the end of it but I did it and I have a diploma to prove it
Last night, 10th, I drove 150 odd miles started working at 4 pm worked solid serving and clearing until 2 am the next morning. Then drove 150 miles home again.
Of course I do have the advantage of only having one leg to wear out

Sometimes I do. I'm only 34 but my team of 12 at work I'm the oldest. I go on hioliday with my partner (who is 14 years my senior) and people think I'm the older party. I go out for a drink or two and want to sleep all day the next day! However I still enjoy my life and realise I'm nowhere near even middle age yet so all is far from lost!

Nah. I took a bath.

Seriously, the only time I think that is when I have a sick headache. Other than that, I'm a happy, busy person and rarely give my age a thought.

I come from long-lived stock. My grandma was 93 when she died, my mom was 89, and I'm a mere 67, so I figure I've got a ways to go yet.

Good for you - I am retired but try a make a difference doing some union work and active in local clubs but I did feel that my sell by date was up while I was still working. I feel I should also be doing something with Amnesty or something as well.

I'm so pleased to welcome another OAP on questions and answers. Yes; I;m well past my sell by date, but being on here has given me so much pleasure to try and help some of the younger growing up. Obviously you cannot tell them anything but at least you can give them cause to think. To me the young people are the continuance of the world and in particular my country whom I love. Yes I would fight and have done for my rights and hopefully do so for ever. Good luck to you and your battle with whoever it is.

lol...yes indeed I do....

...then remember other matters that need attention that I'm capable of, and do them. Human rights, torture survivors, and yes, still time for me to make a difference in those matters I focus on.

Passed my sell by date, I am probably passed my give away by date. I certainly am suffering from some wear and tear but I am still much fitter than my good lady. She is pretty much housebound without the car and wheelchair and at least I am able to get her out and about. OK I am passed my sell by but I am still useful for something.

I'm in my thirties and I'm in better shape than most high school kids so I kinda look at myself like a fine wine, I get better with age. I alos do not complain as I see young people continue to eat McDonalds and pork up, it just makes me all that more attractive.

I believe that I was produced before the "sell by date" was invented, so I feel I will be able to say and do what I want for a long time to come. And, hopefully, it will be improving the things I believe in.
