Technically, everyone has a "strong" accent...
As an American native, I have a American accent. I'm from the South, but I don't believe I have a southern accent, I get told differently, sometimes. Some people have asked me if I am from the West coast, but regardless, in the US. I wouldn't consider my accent distinguishable.

Not only does it depend on the country but the part of the country. Northern German is very different than southern German. Those in the southern states of the United States think those in the north talk really funny and Californians swear they don't have an accent at all.
Myself - to an Englishman, a Frenchman or Japanese yeah I do. To someone from the west coast of the US, sometimes if my southern roots come out.

I live in Europe and the Dutch people here have an Dutch accent when they speak English. For myself I do not have a Dutch or African (I am African) accent. Most people tell me I have an American accent. I think if I would live in The United States people wouldn't recognize that I am an outsider

I can make it sahnd like I have a Pennsylwania Dutch accent, but I really chust have a little bit of one. My father had one, and my grandparents really did. (His mother called me "Cherry.")
I didn't realize my mother did until I found out that the way I parted my hair wasn't affected by a colic, but a cowlick!
It's been more than 25 years since I lived in Pennsylvania, but I've lived other places where people have accents, like Lawn Guyland, New Yawk, where I once saw a restaurant specials sign advertising "broiled groupa," and Balamer, Merlun, where I used to have a house in a section that was spelled Highlandtown but pronounced Hollandtown, Hon!
You may have heard of Lord Balamer. He was British, I think! :)

I'm from West Yorkshire but partially Southernised. I'm softly-spoken for a Northerner but outside Yorkshire, I become more Yorkshire-fied. I probably never had much of an accent to begin with but I'm quite protective of the little that I do have and inclined to over-emphasise it in the company of Southerners. Strange little man, aren't I??

Nope...I was raised in Pakistan until I was 10 and then moved to Canada but since I went to English-speaking schools and only know the very basics in the native language, I never developed an accent. I just have a flat tone lol.

I am from NY. Since I have grown up there I do not think I have an accent, but EVERYONE says I do. But I am so use to it I don't hear it. I think everyone around me where I love now (Raleigh, NC) has a accent. The American Southern accent. It's funny. I would love to hear ur accent. I think English accents are so cute and sophisticated!

My accent is mixed. I've lived a lot of places. I've lived in Texas now for several years. So - I guess you could say I've developed a Yankee Drawl.
