I like this girl, and she knows i'm lesbian i told her myself when she asked did i have a boyfriend. but i'm afraid to tell her because i don't want to jeopardize our friendship. But i've been liking her for a while every since the beginning of the year. i just don't want to scare her off or nothing but it's odd when i told her i was lesbian she really didn't have a reaction or surprised. usually when ppl ask that ..they are surprised. but every since then we talk a lot more. but this thursday she has offered to braid my hair and i'm thinking about telling her should i or should i not??

Thanks for your advice

*Nicole*

she knows your orientation,,,,develope a friendship with her,,,if it was "meant to be".....it will happen,,if it isn't ,,that will happen too...

You probably shouldn't tell her you like her just out of the blue... I have a feeling she already knows and she likes you too. Personally, I would make gestures to let her know I had feelings for her. Open her door, pull out her sit, light her cigarette (if she smokes). Romantic things that would really set you apart from anyone she has encountered. Let her kind of fall into you... Talk to her alot, be there for her. Walk her to class, hold her books. But do not embaress her... As a matter of fact, take her out. Don't ask her on a "date" just do it, on that date be very sweet. Let the chips fall where they may. Hopefully, she will fall for you.

Good luck!!

I've had a friend that's bi tell me she had a crush on me.

I took it cool, and talked it out with her.
It just all depends on how open minded your friend is. If you don't want to jepordize your friendship, I would wait until you feel comfortable telling her.
The only thing you have to deal with sadly, is rejection.

I feel bad saying that, but it's the same thing you have to go through, bi, straight, or gay.

I hope I helped at least a little.

What's more important to you? The friendship or the possibility of having a relationship with her. I say it's always worth the risk of rejection. Live in the now. Let her know how you feel or you'll regret not being honest with her.

Nicole, have you told her you are a lesbian or haven't you? All you have to say is, I prefer sex with women to sex with men. What do you want to tell her? If she says, friends yes, sex no, what will be YOUR response?

"the saddest words in tongue or pen are these words 'it might have been'"

I'd do it. Just let her know if she's not interested you still want to be friends just let it to her easy . Try not to make it a big deal. even though i'm sure it feels like a huge deal. ^^ ganbatte! (do your best!)

I think you should tell her how you feel. If you guys are as close of friends as you say you are, then she will try to understand.
