Most of my facial features are from my mother. I hope that I inherited the most important trait from my father. The history of my family indicates that none of my male ancestors (back to the 10th Century) died of natural causes before the age of 80. My father made it to 83 with a life-long habit of four packs of unfiltered cigarettes and four quarts of beer a day, coupled with amputation of one lower limb in his seventies.

From my Dad--his hands, his thick hair. Fair skin.
His intellectualism his interest in many things. His kindness. I inherited my paternal grandmother's height. I am also named after her.
From my Mom--Her blue eyes, Her sense of humor. Everyone says I look like her, but I have yet to see it. They
both had straight hair. My sister and I were blue-eyed blondes as kids.

I look like my dad with hair. He looked like Johnny Carson I am told. From my mom, I heard that I have her voice and sense of humor....apparently I must not have been awake when the humor showed, cause I never saw it unless my parents had been drinking. LOL I am taller than my mom, she was 4 foot 11 and petite, I am 5'5 so taller. My mom had black hair and green eyes, all the kids were blue eyed blondes. Maybe we were the milkmans kids!

My looks and build from my father, same bone structure on my face. My build, as in wide shoulders, same hands, from my father, except my legs. I got my mother's legs.(thank goodness!) And my mother's eyes. My height, from my grandfather.
Characteristics; From my dad; zany sense of humour, his mild temperament, except when pushed too far, love of piano and music. Love of political and business issues.
Characteristics: My mother, painting ability, flower arrangement, icing cakes and love of tennis. Re arranging the furniture, changing colour schemes in the house! Which drove my dad mad!. Thank God for my wonderful parents.

I am a carbon copy of my dad and his German ancestors. Nothing like my mom, my bro looks enough like mom to be her twin now that he is older. My hair still isn't white and my bro's has been snow white for years. Of course I will try not to worry about the 3 hairs I have left, one brown, one red and one grey. Oh, I do not have my grandmas mustache. Love of all animals from Dad, mom always thought they were all dirty. Dancing ability from Dad, mom had no rhythm at all.

I pretty much look like my father, but thank you Lord Jesus, I got my mother's sense of humor. Dad was about as lively and as much fun as a tree stump.

I look more and more like my mother every year.
I must have inherited my love of traveling and adventure from my father.
