Or America or the Star Sprinkled Banana or any complete songs, just a short bit of music?

Just looking for a piece of music, not the whole song. You know like jingles on commercials, but this wasn't from a commercial. I'll tell you all a little later and you will be kicking yourselves.

I will give you all a hint, you can always go back and edit your answes. At one time, this bit of music was the most recognized throughout all of the United States. It is also part of a truly classical song.

I remember a song called "Strangers in the Night". It's one
of my favorites from the 1960s.
Also. America the Beautiful. And some of the best old favorite Christmas carols. We hear those from childhood.
Edit--Wally, is it "Stars and Stripes Forever"?"The Star-Spangled Banner?"
Edit again--The theme to the "Lone Ranger",which is
also the "William Tell Overture"?

Any bit of rock and roll from the late 50s to the early 70s. You hear a lot on commercials now. Sure brings back memories. The music in the one with Dennis Hopper makes me want to get up and dance. When I hear "I'll Be Seeing You" it makes me nostalgic for a time and place I never was. It has to be one of the most romantic songs ever written.

Star Sprinkled Banana sounds tasty.
And I'd say classic Christmas carols.

For me maybe, Jingle Bells. It might be the time a year or For He is A Jolly Good Fellow. I don't know why but that I can always remember, I guess it because it doesn't have too many words.
EDIT: Grand ol Flag
When are you going to tell us?
EDIT: GIVE IT UP WALLY!!

The theme song from the Andy Griffith Show.
Edit: the opening to Beethoven's 5th Symphony?
Edit # 2: I know this isn't the answer, but I thought it was funny. I asked my son this question and he said it was probably the Nokia ring tone music!

All the old Christmas songs, definately. Also, I grew up listening to Big Band songs, WWII songs, etc. I would like to find them again, because they remind me of Sunday afternoons with my family. Time/Life had a collection, but I haven't been able to find them.
