I'm tired of you all making excuses about "all" Black colleges when there aren't any "all" White colleges. Both, Blacks and Whites, seem to always jump the fence on this issue. So lets set the record straight so you all can stop making this an issue.

If the school is predominately White, then it IS a White school.
If the school is predominately Black, then it IS a Black school.
If the school is predominately Indian, Hispanic, Native, Asian, etc., then it IS...

Even though it is predominately one race that does NOT mean other races do not attend the school, which is why in defense we say, "There is no such thing as an 'all' Black/White college".

Okay? Got it?!

Instead of complaining enjoy it for what it is, take advantage of the opportunities, or just transfer and keep your mouth shut.

So recently I have noticed that our nation's 1st Ammendment rights are being used to the maxim, but most importantly by the homophobes that troll the 'GLBT' section of Yahoo! Answers. I have to ask, what is their real reasoning behind the stupid questions. Are people really that ignorant? Or are they doing it just for a rise in the others that sincerely are here? Apart from that - what are the worst questions that you have seen raised here by homophobes?

I like women and then I turn around and want to date a guy Am I bisexual, bicurious, or just plain confused? I wish I could figure this out because I would be willing to have a girlfriend but I don't know if I would be able to handle it...I hate being this way...I need some kind of advice...Actually I want to go on a date with a girl. Do you think that this would help?

She's a "full coverage" Barbie. LOL! What's next? "Berka Barbie"?

I will admit, she always looked like she was dressed a little skimpy, but is this going too far or is is PC to include little girls from all cultures?

i was in the alltell office and was paying my bill, and the salesperson was very rude to me, and this is the third time he was rude to me. I can't go to the manager, cause there was only two ppl working there, and he was one of them, and yes, he is gay. I have no plroblem with gays, ( dad was one) but his behavior was deplorable, and all I did was go in and pay my bill with my usual money order. I do this every month, and for the last three times, he has been rude. He knows I am str8. How do i tactfully handle this ??

Society is facing a steady decline in the way we treat each other in society. If the old way is the best way, why do old ways become obsolete? It truly is time for change. I wake up in the morning, watch the news and listen to the travesties that occur that are mostly based on the appearance of the person instead of whatever their character flaws could be. When you look at me, can u see that I love football more than the average girl likes to shop?... can you see that I work eighty hours a week and go to school part time because I want nothing but the best for myself? Or do you just see that I look black, so I must be like all your stereotypical beliefs about them?

Truth is, I'm French, Haitian and Scottish and very proud. But I'm just curious, when you look at a person, do you see them for who they are (human) or do you notice their ethnicity?

Just looking for some thoughts...

I am 16 years old and I thinks about sex alot, and I am a virgin, I am gay, I have never had a girlfriend or boyfriend never been kissed.
I worry alot about you know will I ever loose my virginity?
Will I ever be able to be in a realationship with a girl?
I watch porn and sex alot on my movie channels and I just can't stop thinking about this!
I have a really high sex drive and it is driving me crazy!

I'm in love with my best friend, but shes straight. I'm mostly straight and shes the only one who even knows i've been questioning. when we went on vacation this summer we cuddled every night. we would whisper i love you and kiss (like on the cheek, never lips) i've never told her how i feel because I'm afraid she'll act differently around me. I couldn't' handle not being around her, shes my best friend and i wouldn't' be able to survive without her. i know she has been questioning before, but decided she was straight. right now as far a love goes shes sick of liking people who don't like her back. idk if i should go for her or not. please HELP!

Ok, "I'm Here" just got me
athinkin. When I was little, my
mom left me at kiddyland in the Famous-Barr store in St. Louis. What a joy that was.
Later, I would go with her to
all the floors and look at all
the goodies. The ladies in
hats and gloves and the elevator operator that sang out: "First floor,jewelry,powder,purses,gloves,
perfumes, Second Floor:
whatever. There were no
shopping carts so we had to
carry the various boxes. then
there was lunch on the mezanine. Wow, tuna salad
in a tomatoe. Then I got the
streetcar ride home. I also
remember the "Bon" in Seattle, which is no more.
Ladies how did you like the
genteel style of shopping?

That seems to be the focus; Less is more - as in clothing. I don't understand why they want to show so much skin. Does this mean that because the quality of music is so low, this is all there is left to do? 80s artists weren't like that at all.

Ok, im pretty damn sure im bi, i am attracted to both and i love my boyfriend. Honestly i dont think id ever date a girl, i mean i really love my bf and girls seem to love drama. But, im more attracted to girls, they turn me on more. My boyfriend loves the idea of me and another chick together just how do i tell him that im bi? I'm in college, and an organization I belong to is planning to go to the local Bingo place. There is a theme, they want us to dress as older people. This organization is NOT trying to offend anybody (it is a Catholic group, they try to find clean, fun things for us to do). I really love older people, I am a Hospice volunteer and my grandma is my best friend, so I am kind of worried that we will offend some of the Senior citizens? Do you think the theme is cute, or tacky and potentially offensive?

of date rape when he was a teen? I saw on TV where a man is challenging the law because he can't attend his child's school play or take him to a playground. Sex offenders are not suppose go near schools or playgrounds. This is an across-the-board law for all sex offenders, regardless of the crime. What say you?

Why is it that if two black people do the same thing, we all did it? Just because a few assholes decided to rob a man or rape a girl, does not mean that every single one of us is a thug or a rapist! I mean, if we were going to make broad generalizations I could say every White teen in America is a psychopath!

And of course, after I make that nice little statment everyone is going to focus on weighing the number of black crimes against the number of white crimes instead of answering the question because that is just how this community is!
