I remember my dad taking us to the Old Mill ice cream shop and getting us an ice cream cone on Saturday night. Butter Brickle was the absolute best. It was fun because the dippers were square and the ice cream had little crunchies in it. In the 70's there was even a cake mix for Butter Brickle cake. Yummy. Can't have cake or ice cream any more :(

I remember that! It's funny, how they change the names of ice-cream. I think it's butter crunch but now they have all these chocolate bar flavours too. It's really getting confusing. My favourite at the moment is maple walnut . I used like cherry vanilla with whole maraschino cherries in it but now it just has pieces .I guess everything is getting more expensive to make
Ice-cream is my comfort food.

Fenton's, Meadowgold, Heath's is called Bits 'O brickle, Target has it. Otherwise you are looking for toffee ice cream, which most dairys make.

I remember that my hubby liked it, but I wasn't much for it
myself. I think it had chunks of candy in it. But I don't remember what kind of candy it was. I'm a chocolate chip
girl, myself. LOL
