That seems to be the focus; Less is more - as in clothing. I don't understand why they want to show so much skin. Does this mean that because the quality of music is so low, this is all there is left to do? 80s artists weren't like that at all.

Well, this whole 'sex sells' is getting kinda old. I buy music because of the vocals, rhythm and beat. Lack of clothing on a male singer won't make me buy his CD. I have to like the tunes.

For example, I think Michael Buble is hot and it all has to do with his music. His singing is smooth. He's very handsome and classy! He's selling music not sexuality. Celine, too. Basically, if my ears like it I buy it. Lack of clothing is never taken into consideration because I don't buy music based on that. For ppl that do, I feel sorry for them. They may as well buy a sexy adult magazine!

X HER , what does horniness have to do with music? In my history of buying music (80s, 90s to today), the criteria, for me, has always been - do I like the tunes enough to buy the CD?
If popstars have to strip to sell, that is just plain pathetic. Nobody has any real class anymore. The way to sell records is to wear fishnet stockings and act like a tramp.
If a guy was naked on the cover of a CD I wouldn't buy it because I buy music not skin!

Ezra est.1992, I wouldn't sell myself out because a) I'm a private person, b) I don't have a Hollywood figure, and c) I have too much self-respect to want to do that and would never stoop to such low levels as stripping... NOT in a million years!

Ralfcoder, if these ppl don't have the talent to begin with, why are they in the music industry?!?!
Maybe an adult magazine, not a record label, should hire them!
The music industry is a joke.
