I clicked back from answering a question and mine changed to the one with my haircut that I'd tried to put in a couple weeks ago.

I read today about the Cleveland high school shootings and within that article they noted that despite what people may think, school shootings/killing are rare [mathematically].

OK, I realize today's media coverage allows us to know much more quickly what is happening everywhere - however, do you remember ANY school shootings/killing When YOU were growing up and in high school? Did you EVER hear of kids bringing guns to school? Was I just sheltered?

Would really like to hear your take on this. It breaks my heart that children today don't seem to have coping skills with life's challenges.

They are found on your Yahoo Mail home page. Today is a story about "telecom Immunity". This is the first blurb I've seen on the subject of internet security, and FISA.
Read it very carefully and you can
tell from certain statements that internet
communications will be open to
government surveillance.
I can't keep you updated on this,but
I'm asking others interested to bring
up this subject also.

The Divorced Barbie Doll

One day a father gets out of work and on his way home he suddenly
remembers that it's his daughter's birthday. He pulls over to a toy shop
and asks the sales person, "How much for one of those Barbie's in the
display window?"

The salesperson answers, "Which one do you mean, sir? We have:
Work Out Barbie for $19.95, Shopping Barbie for $19.95, Beach Barbie
for $19.95, Disco Barbie for $19.95, Ballerina Barbie for $19.95, Astronaut
Barbie for $19.95, Skater Barbie for $19.95, and Divorced Barbie for $265.95".

The amazed father asks: "It's what?! Why is the Divorced Barbie $265.95
and the others only $19.95?"

The annoyed salesperson rolls her eyes, sighs, and answers: "Sir...,"
Divorced Barbie comes with: Ken's Car, Ken's House, Ken's Boat, Ken's
Furniture, Ken's Computer and ...Oh! One of Ken's friends!

I am really unsure if I should wear this shirt or not. Me and my GSA are sponsering ncod (national coming out day) at my school, we put up posters and are handing out ribbons and information, and stickers. I'm really excited about it, going all out of my way to paint my nails rainbow, and right NCOD on my forehead to support those still in the closet. I'm a lesbian, and I'm out of the closet, and I have this shirt I made that says I love girls. Would it totally go against everything if I wore it? I'm kind of uncomfortable at the idea of wearing it, of course I'd bring a sweater jacket as well, but I'm not sure if I should wear it or not. It just seems like a big decision. I made it myself, it's just marker on a tang top. What do you think? No rude/bigotish answers please. And happy NCOD! Can I say that lol?

3 Holy Men and a Bear

A priest, a Pentecostal preacher, and a rabbi all served as chaplains to the students of NorthernMichiganUniversityin Marquette. They would get together two or three times a week for coffee and to talk shop.

One day, someone made the comment that preaching to people isn't really all that hard. A real challenge would be to preach to a bear. One thing led to another, and they decided to do an experiment. They would all go out into the woods, find a bear, preach to it, and attempt to convert it.

Seven days later, they all came together to discuss their experience.

Father Flannery, who had his arm in a sling, was on crutches, and had various bandages on his body and limbs, went first. "Well," he said, "I went into the woods to find me a bear. And when I found him, I began to read to him from the Catechism. Well, that bear wanted nothing to do with me and began to slap me around. So I quickly grabbed my holy water, sprinkled him and, Holy Mary Mother of God, he became as gentle as a lamb. The bishop is coming out next week to give him first communion and confirmation."

Reverend Billy Bob spoke next. He was in a wheelchair, had one arm and both legs in casts, and had an IV drip. In his best fire-and-brimstone oratory, he claimed, "WELL, brothers, you KNOW that we don't sprinkle! I went out and I FOUND me a bear. And then I began to read to my bear from God's HOLY WORD! But that bear wanted nothing to do with me. So I took HOLD of him and we began to wrestle. We wrestled down one hill, UP another and DOWN another until we came to a creek. So I quickly DUNKED him and BAPTIZED his hairy soul. And just like you said, he became as gentle as a lamb. We spent the rest of the day praising Jesus."

The priest and the reverend both looked down at the rabbi, who was lying in a hospital bed. He was in a body cast and traction with IVs and monitors running in and out of him. He was in really bad shape. The Rabbi looked up and said, "Looking back on it, circumcision may not have been the best way to start."

Should I be worried that he's coming on to me?
He's kinda friendly anyway and hugs me all the time so I'm thinking it was just innocent, but what I've heard about his past relationships makes me think he might try and fool around on her, possibly with a guy if he's thinking of trying something new.
Please note I said blowback, and not *******... (I wish...)

I would love to meet people from the YA community here, and discuss some of the same things in a group I've just created on myspace.

It's for young people in their 20's from different backgrounds to come and discuss their views. It's very very new. LOL.

I know this is complete and total whoring, but I thought it would be a great way to branch out and talk to some new people. Thanks!

Aaliyah...okay we know u like white men...u don't have to keep saying it. Can't u guys ask about something besides race issues...thats not the only thing going on in the world. or just let someone else ask something about race dang...not the same ppl.

Some of you may know that I have been busy accompanying a friend for all sorts of tests lately and have not been on line. The tests results came in, Marie was diagnosed with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Lyme disease. She never knew she was bitten by a tick. She now is taking antibiotics. We were a little frightened at first because her platelets were very low, then a mild rash, flu like symptoms, the nausea and vomiting joint pain. We still can't find the tick though.
I am back taking care of Brian, her son, with cerebral palsy , epilepsy and schitzophrenia, so life is back to normal!

A grand re-union hooley on the moors! All friends welcome!
This depends on the replies of our respected clansfolk who have yet to reply - come forth Jilly, Barbara, JustMe,Goldwing.

But in readiness - have your music chosen and your heartswish which will be granted by the mystic powers that have brought about this great event. For each and every one played a brave part.

But how do we bring the Brave McTealc down from his sentry - he who still suspects skulduggery - how do we re-assure him that our foes are now friends?

And may I ask the honour of my Guiding Light - Goldwing for the first turn around the camp fire?

But can I also ask the great favour and honour of leaving the gathering with the Great and Honourable McTealc for a night on the moors?

I did say that heartswishes would come true!
Come forward with your suggestions for music and merriment!

And Dragons - YOU ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!!!
The Clydesdales are yours - roasted ok with you?

I talked to him one day about his feminity and he said that he is not ashamed because men and women both have masculine and feminine qualities. He says that he is confident as a man and he is well aware that he has feminine qualities and feels fine about it. He says just because a man has feminine qualities does not mean he is gay.

But, I still wonder and I can't help but be suspicious because from time to time he talks like a woman and thinks like a woman and loves to decorate the house, and sometimes he's very girly, more than me. I don't want a girl-friend as a husband, I want a manly man as a husband.

I'm still suspicious, what is your advice and experience.

When ever he acts feminine, I get turned off.

I really love him but I am not sure if he is straight. If he is straight, I not sure if I can continue to live with this. What should I do?

I am tired of people thinking that not wanting to be in an inter-racial relationship, It has nothing to do with that...Personally I am just not attracted to other ethnicities.

Is there a genetic reason for this?

2. What is his/her race?
3. Is it male or female? (I don't want to make assumptions!)
4. What is his/her religion?
