my buddy is asian and he's been hanging out with african americans ever since we were 15. I don't know if he has things in common with them or what. He's been having african american girlfriends and like i see the other of his cousins go out and hang out with african americans. They actually talk and act the same but i don't get it? i'm not racism by the way. Just wondering is that common everywhere?

Because if they are friends, then they will most likely belong to the same social groups therefor enjoy the same things and act in an uniform way. Nothing to do with their race.

I don't see how this is race related, I have both black and white friends, it just happened because I liked them as people
If you really want to make it a race issue, making friend with blacks is more relaxing to me, I can dress and talk anyways I like. With my white girl friends, I can't talk a certain way, I have to dress more preppy to fit in.

Asians first came to America as indentured servants to help build the railroad,then most returned to Asia.The few that remained generally became productive citizens
Blacks came to America as slaves,sold by their own tribesmen to work in the cotton fields.All were freed in 1865 but none returned to Africa and very few ever became productive citizens.
