A question that does apply to men increasingly nowadays. As for me, no I haven't and it would be quite a challenge to a cosmetic surgeon to make me look any different. I don't fancy a navel on my chin and a goatee beard.

Neither me nor Tc have had anything done and probably won't. I am very proud that I don't have a "turkey-neck" yet and although we've both got a few wrinkles here n there we're quite happy to grow old (dis)gracefully! The nearest I get to anything like that is exfoliating once a month! Lashings of Johnstone's Baby Lotion keeps my skin nice and soft n that's enough for me! Some women, celebrities, look like horror shows eg. Jackie Stallone....and even the ones who have had good cosmetic surgery cannot hide their true age with certain areas like the backs of their hands....that's a big giveaway! Botox? Eeyuck! The nearest my body gets to having bacteria put in it is with a nice piece of Danish Blue cheese thank you!

I have not had anything done. I will soon be having some laser surgery on my varicose veins though. The procedures will be covered 100% by my medical insurance and are more for a medical purpose rather than a cosmetic. Honestly, I can't wait to have pretty legs without the bulging purple veins! I would like to have some reconstruction surgery on my breast. The lumpectomy surgery that was done 3 years ago left me with a big old dent. That's not as obvious as those ugly purple veins in my legs though.

I know many people who have played with nature (men and women). With very few exceptions, the results are very, very good. IT seems that when too much, too many times is done, troubles start. Here in Orange County, it is the land of saline/silicon boobs..some are so preposterous, I cannot help but laugh. You just don't see perky, double D's on a woman in her 50's-60's, weighing in at maybe 110 pounds The woman, not the boobs, although at times, I wonder)!!! Looks so stupid! This is the land of no wrinkles because of botox parties...face it, when someone smiles and no lines appear around the eyes, when nothing happens with the forehead, you know botox is near! Like I said, retouching is fine with me, but... there really is a limit! When it is so obvious that I can tell something is amiss, you KNOW they have gone too far! But, again, by and large, the surgeons here are very, very good, and know when to stop. Good luck, Goldwing

No, I have have and never will. I think that I probably look older than my real age, but that's the way I look. I have no desire to change my looks at all, and certainly wouldn't consider surgery or botox (Botulinum toxin) I've seen many people who've had things done, they don't all look right when it's done and they certainly don't look right a few years later. Look at all the plastic faced American celebrities - who'd want to end up looking like that??

Oddly enough I have had cosmetic surgery to remove some skin folds and wrinkles what were causing me some trouble. However they were not where you can normally see them they were on the end of the stump of my leg and the now nice smooth stump makes fitting and wearing an artificial leg much easier

Never. When I see the likes of Kenny Rogers, Wayne Newton, Barry Manilow et al there is no way that I'd have anything done. They have the money, time and connections to go to the best cosmetic surgeons in the business and they end up looking, well....scary...all tight and shiny....yikes....

I once sent a friend a Boots voucher for Christmas as I heard they wanted an ear pierced. I put on the voucher that it was the first time I had bought anybody a hole in the head. Why do people seem to be so intent on mutilating their bodies these days? Tattoos? Piercing? Boob-jobs? You don't have any pierced parts or wear make-up then? Good on you! I don't do drugs unless absolutely necessary and regard my early morning coffee, tobacco and alcohol as such. Can somebody tell me please why body piercing is any different to a boob job?

No, I have not. However, I have thought about having botox on the crease in my brow and the laser face smoothing proceedure done. That is the down home honest truth. Now, I don't know that I will ever get it done, but I might.

No and wouldn't even consider it.
I do have a small number of friends that have had things done such as tummy tuck, liposuction, boob job, eyes, face lift.
I can't really say it's added anything. If it did, I probably would be the first in line for it. I just waited to see what each of them looked like and how it changed their outlook. By the end of six months they had finally stopped talking about it and, really, you couldn't tell much difference.
