Here's mine: Just because I used all the soccerballs from the playing field by my apartment to construct a giant organic molecule using the PVC pipe from the goal posts as the bonds, and displayed it in the middle of the soccer field as artwork..doesn't make me a nerd!

(it just makes me highly creative)

You've seen them. The chick getting off the bus with the Gucci bag (FAKE!). The chick at the club with the fake Louis Vuitton bag (I know it's fake because she stepped out a 2000 Taurus), bling (fake), D&G frames she got off ebay or from the lady at the hair salon who has 100s of glasses in little baggies for $10 or 3 for $20. YET, late on bills, can't make car payment, rent late, etc.

What the heck is up with this. Is the media to blame? Why can't people just be happy with what they have and what they can afford instead of trying to be something they're not.

I personally vowed to never buy a fake bag or real one for that matter until I was driving in a Mercedes that I bought with my own credit.

i know it sounds weird that he is my friend, but he is RACIST. that is the worst thing in life for anybody. i keep trying to help him by getting him to hang out with my black friends (he is only racist against blacks). he doest hate them because of their color but the way they act. whenever he sees black ppl he thinks they are robbers who kill cops. he hates how they use slang saying "wassup homey" and stuff like that. he thinks everybody has to act white which got me PISSED. i wanna be his friend but i cant stand hanging around his racism. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIs. i have tried everything i can. but he wont change. AAAAAAHHH!!!

I know someone mentioned on here about LGBT not being allowed to get married is the same thing as racial segregation from years ago. I wondered...that's a great analogy. I also agree that it's unfair for people to not be able to get married based on their sexual orientation. That should be illegal for LGBT to not be allowed to get married. Very discriminatory. I can relate to LGBT discrimination because my friend is BI & has friends who are LGBT. My friend's gay friend said that if LGBT marriage was allowed, that would reduce promiscuity & STD's in the LGBT community. I'm heterosexual & disabled, & I know that being bashed for my mental illness, being called crazy, is just as harsh as the derogatory names for you people. So I can relate. I know I'm hetero, but my friend thinks if I turned BI like her, people would me more interested in dating me, since some straight men feel like 2 BI women with them is a turn-on. But I'm happy with being hetero.

Do people REALLY believe that if Racial Injustice had NEVER happened to Black People(Ancestry to Present)...society would've turned out like it has today?? Example: High Crime Rates, Killing etc. *You only mirror what you are taught*

I'm talking about ALL of the slavery, segregation, killing, hate crimes, judicial injustice, human zoos, genocide etc....

And a popular answer around here is "Well, it didn't happen to you, quit bringing up the past...blah blah blah" Well actually, it has happened to me and to those before me, and to not bring up the past is ridiculous because it influences the future.

I mean seriously, it is so easy for a person to dismiss these facts when their "race" has never experienced the extremities that Black People have (and YES they HAVE) ...but consider the above and reply with "EDUCATED" answers.

Idiotic commentary is = to garbage. So post that crap if you want to, just know that your "opinion" doesn't mean squat.

I am a bi female in my mid 20's taking night classes at a local college. I have noticed this other female in my class. She is very attractive but is married ( I saw a wedding ring on her finger) but for some reason I get a "vibe" from her. Not even sure why. She hasn't really done anything obvious but she has winked a couple of times just in the middle of regular conversation at me and she has come up behind me before and ran her fingers through my hair. I thought this a little weird. Do straight women play with other women's hair like that? I have never had anyone do that to my hair before unless I got a new "do" they were looking at (this wasn't the case). Any opinions?

In my understanding - yes, these people are in danger. But what country would qualify this issue as “refugee” status worthy? we are not equal in our own country...

If so, do other people think that you're dating? This happens with my friends and I a lot. If we weren't gay, we'd probably be pissed, but since we're gay, it's SO funny to see how people react.

Question after question has been posted on here concerning Jena, other incidents, other alleged incidents, and even just random racest rants. Some make claims that there is no racism at play in these incidents, others even blame victims of racism for causing them.

Folks, isn't it pretty simple when you break it down. If you judge any segment of a society based on their skin color (regardless of the color of your own) then you are displaying racist behaviour. If you have hatred for any segment of a society due their skin color (usually due to limited experience or immaturity) then you are indeed exhibiting bigoted behaviour. If all of your questions target a racial group (regardless of which one or what color you are) then you are being bigoted.

Isn't it way past time we stopped this nonsense?

The two funniest were (1) right after we'd had a fire at the house and I was waiting for a call from the insurance company. The fellow started in on what he'd like to do with me, and I told him, "Get off my line right now. I'm waiting for an important call." (2) My son was visiting me when the phone rang. My decision for re-retirement must be made with more consideration this time based on medical care availability, transportation, cost of living, cost of housing, security, leisure time activities. I retired here in the Philippines in 2000 but, due to the cost of living increasing here and non-available of medicare facilities, and security I must reconsider and try to find another place that offers more for retired people than Philippines, any help would be appreciated. I have pensions from Navy, and social security, but, I am not rich by any means, so economical solutions are a prime factor in furure decisions for re-retirement. True Philippines is lower cost than U.S. but, facilities are lacking for retired personnel, no senior citizen facilities, medical care under par, transportation for seniors non-existent, meals on wheels never heard of here, and other considerations must be made before going there this time.
