This isn't about race, but it's funny how racist ALWAYS have to mentioned it. I read about it and thought it was the worst rape (real life) story I've ever heard and I feel scared for other young women and women in general regardless of race. The point is that the media needs to stop discussing stupid stories about irrelevent topics. Get over the race crap people and stop making assumptions and being paronoid.

Simple answer, Kanye West one the battle beating out 50 cent and Kennie Chesney. Kanye West is a African American man who makes no apologies for his views of white and black America. He's controversial and the media along with a lot of black, white and others hate him for being so brash. He's the freaking man in my opinion because he stands for his beliefs. He's a man with convictions. The media wanted 50 to shut him up and it backfired.
As for the youtube story you have the media didn't talk about it as much as Britney and the rest because she is not a celebrity. It's sad but it's the way the media works. If the young lady or the criminals were rich then this tragic story would have gotten more coverage. Tragic cases happen at least once a week somewhere in the lower 48 states. So the media doesn't give average Joe or Joanne very much air time whenever something horrible happens. I live in the 4th largest city in the US and our local news has some sort of tragic case every single week. The national media really picks and chooses what stories to grab. Most stories are gong to be about rich people, celebs or politicians. The local news carries the real stories most of the time.

(HA-HA!!!) I am so out of the media it is funny, I dont care about 50 or Kanye. Neither one of them do anything possitive! Well,....Kanye has more effective things to say than 50 but all in all it's BS. And I "REALLY" dont care about the rich girl from the Mickey Mouse Club.
If she was forced to live in Inglewood for a week she'd be a change girl. All 3 of these folks needs to give thanks and pray more often.

There should be a media watch & report on abused people. Thanks for putting this on Yahoo. That would be the persecuted Church also.
Though, I wouldn't be surprised if Megan is a Christian. My heart goes out to her & we should agree together & pray for her healing. 100%. That she is free from her captives is good. That someone called & reported this before they ended up killing her.
