The illegal Mexicans. For one, the British are more easily assimilated into our culture, and for two, the British don't court any ideas of "taking back" the land.

Illegal IS illegal. But, I would guess that the preference hasn't as much to do with "race" (a nonsense pseudo-scientific term by the way) as it does with culture. I will specifically answer your comparison between a British illegal and a Mexican illegal.
Culturally, the Brits are closer ; therefore more likely to be interested in integrating into American culture and society.
Secondly, there is a legitimate question of language. The Brit won't be as likely to isolate him/herself with people who speak the same language as he/she does. They will also not put the difficulty into the classroom that a non-anglophone would. There are many school districts that have been forced to reduce the number of teachers (ie increasing the student : teacher ratio) because they now have to hire translators, etc to accomodate non-English speaking students. This is not done for Italian students who arrive speaking no English though (I choose the Italians randomly by the way)
Finally, there is the question of motive. Mexican extremists in particular have a political movement to "take back" their old lands in California, Texas, etc. They stir up trouble by stating that through illegal immigration (and then "through the wombs of our women" as I read recently); they are determined to again own the lands that they lost to the United States.
You can add to that the deliberate attempts by the Mexican government to encourage people to leave Mexico and go to the United States. Their attempt to prevent the Mexican people from getting uncomfortable enough to push for reform and kick out the horribly corrupt government. Let's face it, Mexico has many natural resources and their people are quite capable of building a prosperous nation if only they quit exporting their ability to the US and stayed home to clean up the idiot-run government who oppresses them.
Illegal IS illegal. Frankly I say apply and wait in line to apply. But living in California and understanding the dynamic of the Mexican illegal population in particular; yes I do have specific issues with the sheer numbers of illegals walking in daily. As do I have a problem with having to homeschool my children because they spend so much time in the classroom watching their teachers play "catch up" with others.
By the way, I don't have any particular love or affinity for the English, I'd have said the same for a German, Rwandan, Thai or other (except for the language of course).

that is not approximately race, yet language does make a distinction. i could fairly might desire to handle a Bangladeshi who speaks fluent english than with a white-as-snow Swede who speaks none. that is in easy terms a splash much less confusing to handle. i does not be vulnerable to allow the two stay illegally, yet a minimum of that's way less confusing for me to describe to the only that knows english. And, if he does turn around his habit and aply legally, he will have an much less confusing time assimilating, on the grounds that he's already delicate with the language. On a simpler point, english-speaking illegals placed much less of a burden on colleges and different centers, on the grounds that they don't require specific ESL instructions or translators. Asside from those somewhat logicstical issues, although, unlawful remains unlawful.

They are both bad because they are ILLEGAL. I don't care about the race. People need to stop cheating their way into this country.

neither one is bad
many of the people they call Mexican illegals these days come from other countries, like El Salvador, Honduras, etc
those people are not bad either, just saying that everyone who speaks Spanish is not necessarily a person with a Mexican background

British. Mexicans are here to make a decent wage. I would imagine that the British aren't here illegaly for the money.

their both on the same level. if they don't try and get their citizenship the right way, then they need to leave.
ALL illegal immigrants need to leave.
