The savings is really great and the dr's there are very good as I lived there for a few years.

So, what does that say about our system{health care?} and all the infections that people get in our "" Hospitals and they say all it would take is for the dr or surgeon wash"" their hands""""

I read that in the AARP magazine this month. Good thing there are options.

Yes. And it's mostly cosmetic surgery as I understand it. A lot of it is being done in Costa Rica as well. My problem with off-shore surgery isn't so much the probability of acquiring a nosocomial (hospital-based) infection. It's rather more a dread of some nations which re-use hypodermics and needles, thus elevating the chances of spreading hepatitis and HIV.
