i've been "bi" for a number of years now. but lately it seems like i just can't be bothered by all these nice, seemingly attractive men who keep getting interested in me and asking me out on dates. i feel like i've reached a point where i really love women and am intensely attracted to them, but when it comes to men, it seems i don't really need one to be happy. have i reached the "gay later" point ("bi now, gay later")????

I am completely sick of all the poor grammar, spelling, and punctuation on this site. Until recently, I had been willing to give the transgressors the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to ignorance, i.e. simply not knowing any better. Now, I realise that there are many non-native English-speakers here, but it's pretty clear who they are.
I've finally decided to just ask, and, like a fool, hope for serious, honest answers.

Which is it? Was/Is your education so poor that were never taught or given access to materials to instruct you in the proper use of the language? Or have you simply so little respect for yourself and your expression that you choose not to exercise your skills?
I must say that I am particularly appalled when I come across questions posed by parents with school-aged children.
So, which is it?

Also, sexuality is an action, not a state of being.

If you want to be gay, fine. No one really cares. But is is not due minority group status.

Not all elderly people are senile or semi-literate; most old people have a lot of experience which they could share to the benefit of youngsters and many are highly educated and could teach a lot, given the opportunity.
Now-a-days elderly members of our western society are not held with the same esteem as their forebearers. Just the opposite they are often ridiculed or rudely ignored.
What would you suggest to remedy this, bearing in mind that we will all be old one day (if we survive)?

i really want to clear my mind of this for all you gay/lesbian people out there. i konw this is rude but are you all what people steriotype you to be? like are gay men all girly and do they talk like a girl and like to go shopping and wear girls clothes? or are you just men that like men? are all you lesbians like really manly and rugged and stuff? or are you just women that like women? i need to know so i dont get stuck stereotyping people who are different. this is a serious question so answer seriously.

I recently came out to my mother and told her that I was going to have a sex change operation. I am already several months into the process of taking hormones, so there are things going on with my body that are starting to become more difficult to hide, especially now that summer is here. I always thought she would be accepting, especially because she has several gay friends, but to my surprise, she was outraged and said that if I went through with this, she would never speak to me again and would have me removed from her will. My dad passed away several years ago, so my mother is all the family I have. I don't want to lose her, but I also need to follow this path. It has been three weeks since I told her, and she refuses to return my calls or answer my e-mails. I stopped by her house the other day and she refused to answer the door. What should I do? I am so lonely.

i recently had one of my close guy friends tell me he THINKS he is gay. he said that i was the only one that knew, because he didnt know how his parents would react. i didnt judge him and i tried to be understading, but i didnt know what to say...i didnt want to say the wrong thing. so i basically just sat there while he talked to me. i told him that i wouldnt think any differently of him and that i was always here for him. what else could i possibly say? & should i tell my parents? because our parents are good friends. i dont want my mom to go blabbing to his mom..what do u think? oh and he is only 17.

If Yahoo is supporting this issue, like it looks like they are, then I have lost respect for the entire organization.

(Christians need a place to go where they can communicate without sin being a main topic of conversation.)

Say I move to New York from a southern state and I have a child in New York in which we live there for the rest of our lives. Will the child have an accent? Or is that in a certain type of culture? I'm not planning on moving there but I was watching Elmo with my daughter and the little kids on there have little New York accents since it's based out of New York and I was just wondering how the incur those accents. Thxs and I know it's a silly question but I was just wondering.

WEB DuBois wrote about it over one hundred years ago. The "double conciousness" of Black people. 100 years later Black people are still schizophrenic; still living to in two worlds at once; still having to say things like "I act one way around white people and another way around black people."

I know this does not apply to all of us. But if you have two personalities one of them needs to go. Dont you think?

I was the kid in the corner, wore all black and either a big winter hat to hide behind, or kept my hair in my face, and was always drawing. I never talked unless something p*ssed me off and then suddenly I'd become a loud mouth, and hid in the bathroom at lunchtime. I never had more than one or two close friends, and they were usually the exact opposite of me.

You?

Hi everybody. ok, il keep this short. Me and my wife are happily married, with 2 beautiful daughters, ages 15 and 14. Now, im not opposed to gay people, i have serveral friends of the homosexual persuasion, but 2 days ago i saw my 15 year old deeply kissing another girl before getting out of the car. I would estimate the other girl was around 18-19 with a flashy new Accord. My daughter doesnt know i saw this, but i feel i should talk to her.
