Sure, as long as its not Hillary. I'd be ok with Condi though if she ran.

Asian countries have had women as leaders of their nation. Their being female is not detrimental to the development of their countries. In fact, some are even better than the male leaders they have had. Some are feisty, no-nonsense women who can stand on their own, debate or argue with anyone who tries to question their decisions and can give as much as they take.
The women of today are intelligent, well-educated, some with Phd's or doctorates and witty. The US is more than ready to have a woman president and if qualities and qualifications are to be considered, there are enough women holding important seats in government that can give the male nominees a run for their money.

The US is more than ready for a woman president. However I don't think that Hillary Clinton would be a wise choice, considering all the baggage that she has from her husband, Bill. I would say the same for Condoleeza Rice, all that baggage from George W Bush. But there are a LOT of fully qualified women in public life that I'd feel secure in having as the leader of our nation.

yes! i think that women, who have only had their rights for less than 100 years, should be able to take part in the exectutive branch of government. i highly think that the U.S. is ready for some women leadership, besides hilary clinton. we need the right woman for the right jobs.

It has been ready, since the dawn of the U.S., but fear of a euphoric nation scared our founding fathers. God Bless.

Why not? Women have been leading families since the beginning of time. Why can't one lead our country?

depends upon who the Lady leader is. the ability to lead should be based upon ability not gender.

It could be possible. Males, however, will sabotage any potential possibility of that happening.
