I have been talking with this guy for several months and I am going to meet him for the first time this weekend in Boston. I was wondering if anyone had some cool ideas for a small gift to give him when I meet him at the airport. I thought about flowers, but that seems too routine. Any other ideas?

I already stated a question, and I mean you are who you are, but I was talking about the stereotypical people who are just doing it to be stereotypical. Those passionate queens.

They make it so hard for me, because first of all no one even BELIEVED me when I came out, and my parents still have no idea that I'm gay!! I also have to put up with a bunch of crap how EVERYONE thinks that gay people have to be queens.

And let's not forget I'm told that since I'm young I have to have an absolutely smooth, perfectly skinny body, no facial hair at allllll. It drives me nuts!

Is there anyone else who hates to be identified with these kind of gay people? Do you think I have the right to be angry?

Please don't get offended, you shouldn't be offended if people don't like who you are, 'cause you're you for yourself and not going to changen anyways. I just wouldn't mind finding like minded people!

Why do people believe they have to follow a stereotype? Are you the kind of person who doesn't like it? I personally can't stand it but I'm sure you could tell that already. I just think you should act like yourself, and not have to be a stereotype to be something!

my best friends GF died and i have been there for her through all of it. she is a total mess and its been 2 months now and she has to move out of her house cuz she cant afford it but she is having a hard time moving cuz of all the memories. she has been calling me every day 7-10x's a day and im getting annoid with it and im starting to ignore her calls cuz im compleatly drained from her. what do i do and how do i get her to stop calling all the time with out hurting her feelings evan more making her think that she lost her GF and now her BFF??

How many of you have used "I'm a transsexual." to shut someone up? I had some girl just try to cam with me, and I don't have a cam. She persisted, and I just used that to see if it would shut her up. It did. Anyone else ever use that line?

What is the proper term for this sort of individual?

I know two male friends, who seem to have some habits and routines that seem really gay, yet they are completely hetero. My gay friends often whisper to inquire if they are gay, and I tell them they aren't.

This guy I have been seeing for sometime now, moved away because of his job. I care about him a lot, and I've told him that several times. However, he isn't the commitment type, he likes to meet new people, have sex, and move on to the next person. He asked me to go with him and go to school where he moves (which is in another state) I don't want to hurt him, but I don;t want to leave all my family and friends to go be with someone that wants to be with other people. I grew up in the southwest and was raised ina family of nothing but cowboys and cowgirls. So natrually I took after my family. I drive a truck and a motorcycle. I wear my gear proudly and never have a problem with it. A few weeks ago I was at a bar in Lufkin,TX. I was of my flirty self but I got no responces. Once again it happened about five days later. My girlfriend broke up with me becuase she didn't feel an attraction anymore. I'll countinue on the girlfreind thing. We rented Brokeback Mountain at the movie store (it was her idea,I wanted to wacth something funny). That was the last "cowboy" related thing we had done. So is this movie screwing the cowboy image up, or is just me?

I am sure that there is some evidence out there - like maybe a clinical research study published in a peer-reviewed jounal, something like that. The reason I am sure that this evidence exists is because of all the people who keep insisting that being gay is a choice and that's why it is a sin. However, so far the only argument I've heard is: "God created Adam & Eve, not Adam & Steve." Which is terribly clever, or was the first time I heard it; but it sort of lacks that certain quality associated with rigorous scientific inquiry.

So, does anyone know where I can find this evidence? Or, if there isn't any actual published data, is there at least some anecdotal evidence? Do you know someone who claims to be gay by choice? For that matter, do you know anyone who is gay?

If you have no evidence, no anecdotes, and don't even personally know anyone who is gay, then where the hell are you getting your information? Did God tell you personally?
