Don't get me wrong, I want gay marriage and other equal rights for gays. This question is strictly b/c I'm confused. My friend is a gay Christian, but b/c I grew up Christian I know what the Bible says. I don't know how to explain the verses that are against gays, except to say that there are verses against fornication, adultery, and divorce, but these are "accepted" by Christians, if not "practiced" by them.

What are the morals involved? I just know it's pretty strict for straight christians, so how strict do gay christians view their religion? My friend has no problem going to gay bars, and I know that a lot of so called christians do so as well. So, I guess this question is more about what it means to be christian. So, gay or straight, what does it mean?

It never fails. Every time I go to the Filipino chat room, we'll have a nice conversation, then, towards the end, they ask you if you can send them some money. I know that the Philippines is a poor country and that the poverty level is very high (I have been there and seen it for myself), but does that make it ok for them to ask you to send them money. I've had some women not even beat around the bush. The first thing they want to know is if I have a job. The second thing they ask is if we have Western Union for money transfers. Is there a culture in the Philippines that makes these young women feel that it's OK to ask Americans for money? I don't mind contributing to a charity that would help the needy in the Philippines, but I am really turned off by individuals whom I don't even know asking for money.

I've been pretty secretive about my sexuality with my best friend who is a gay guy. He thinks that I am a virgin and go for strictly women. Truth is, I have a past that I am not proud of, and I know I do like girls because I'm still not over a girl over high school..I'm 25 now. I've never dated girls, but I find interest in them. Something came over me today and my best friend who is a gay guy is a really good friend of mine. Today, I realized something off about me. Although I'm intoxicated I have this feeling that I am falling for him. He doesn't know I've ever liked guys. I'm really confused and don't know what to do. He told me I am as best of a friend to him as his family. I will never tell him I ever liked guys period. I'm just scared that I am still trying to find myself. What do I do?

The time is way beyond past for black people to come together and work together to better ourselves. Fighting each other is giving some people just what they want. White people make it with each other; Asians be lying all the time for each other (lol); Latinos roll 30 deep in each ride; Native Americans are doing their thing; Jews are so successful that you couldn't even guess they've gone through so much as a people (this is all speaking in generalities, of course). Black people have been at the bottom of the heap for a long time. Though they may be hindered and held back from us, the unalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness still belong to us too. Is fighting and quareling with each other and hating those of us who come up what we want Black America to continue to be known for; or are our lives and the lives of our children worth fighting for? They say people choose their fight. We should fight to regain what already is ours: Happiness.

I've heard of scale or a tests that determines how straight, bi, gay you are. Like a scale between 1-10 and for example certain characteristics or feelings might be bi (maybe at a 5) or straight but not quite bi at a 2 or 3, etc. Has anyone heard of this before?

I'm 27 years old. When I say "older people" I mean anyone 20 and up who looks down on younger people as "immature". Funny: when we were younger, we hated all the yabbering and discipline our parents gave us; but we "grow up" and seem like we can't breathe unless we're dishing it out to younger people. If adults really are as smart as they always claim, as wise and knowledgeable as they state, then why is our world so torn? Why is our government, run by adults, so corrupt? Why is it hard for adults to remember (in all their wisdom) that they themselves hated (when they were young) the very thing they're dishing out to the youth? Why are adults using the same chastising, hurtful, shaming, angry words to coerce younger people to do what ADULTS want, not really what's right for them? If scolding (etc.) never worked, then it never will work. Moral (etc.) collapse of this country started with adults; if anyone needs to change, it is adults since they claim to know better.

My 3 bi/courious female relatives seem to hate the male gentalia (the look) but I can handle as a straight female the female breasts (not the vagina so much)? But I was wondering why is it, a straight female can find both sexes physically attractive but most lesbian or bi women can't find both sexes physically appealing. I don't mean sexually, just their looks?

I'm straight, but one time when I looked at a Playgirl, I thought it was so weird, I don't know if it was the look of the penises I hated or the fact that there was so many. But I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought should have. Yet, I enjoy watching the Girls Next Door and can handle seeing a nude woman. I don't think I'm gay but is that weird for me to feel that way as a straight woman?

People take the fact of being gay to a social level, I mean, that you turn gay if you do something that "they" consider gay or like something that they consider gaylike.
Being gay in my opinion is something Biological and Psycologycal.

Hi I am doing a research to see if people would go for or against the cochlear implant in deaf children, and why is the reason you chose that answer. I know that many people might go for it but why not against it? Thank you for helping me in this research.

How many lesbians or bisexual women are out there that like big, beautiful women? I've known most gay women (especially on craigslist) prefer thin women or girls that are not overweight. What happened to the love for BBW? I'm an overweight queer woman with a good personality and cool traits, but often get overlooked because of my size.

Does anybody here know anything about other countries that America has not invaded.I was shocked to find out that a lot of college students and even grads no nothing about the world outside America.
I think with better education, americans would accept others just the way they are.I am tired of people talking about accents, tired of people wanting to know what they are not willing to embrace.
Do you think that Americans respect people from other countries?

50 years ago, people didn't come out and gays weren't as common as they are now. my mom and dad hooked up to get a bank loan so they could open a bar/grill together, because the banks wouldn't loan to a " queer " ( my dad) back then, and then, my older sister was born. When I tell ppl my parent's sexual origins, as the result of a conversation we are having, they expect me to tell them I am gay/bi,too. In fact, some gay women/bi men have told me I am gay and have not realized it yet. Can this be true? I am not a homophobe,or i would not have married two bi men. They later went gay. I seem to attract bi men as lovers and have been hit on by alot of women. This has caused me some anxiety on whether i am gay/bi or not. i am straight, and have been married 4 times, and current hubby and I have been married 10 years....
