I've heard of scale or a tests that determines how straight, bi, gay you are. Like a scale between 1-10 and for example certain characteristics or feelings might be bi (maybe at a 5) or straight but not quite bi at a 2 or 3, etc. Has anyone heard of this before?

It's called the Kinsey scale. There's also an attempt to refine it called the Klein Sexual Orientation Grid.

Wikipedia has articles on both at the following URLs:

There IS a scale. Back in the '40s a man named Alfred Kinsey developed a scale from 0-6 based on how you are attracted to the same-opposite sex.

If gays and lesbians want to continue with the notion that homosexuality is hereditary, such a scale needs to NOT exist. The last thing we need on our hands is a contest to see who's the gayest.

I actually saw a show (on VH1 I think) that had a bunch of hot girls trying to be the biggest lesbian. Just plain sad.

To my opinion there is no such scale because only you can
determine your sexuality. There is no such thing as being a little
gay or real gay! You are what you are and make yourself happy bump the scale.

Sounds like a plot to convince people that everyone is a little gay. I think you are 100% gay if you want to have a sexual experience with someone of the opposite sex, but that's just my personal opinion.

Sounds like something kinsey-related. I'd disagree with putting sexual attraction on a line like that. It wouldn't be able to fit everyone, just like the "gender scale" doesn't fit everyone either.

You can never be too gay. Personally, I avoid scales. I don't want to be a statistic.

There is none. That's like saying you're a little bit pregnant. You either are gay or you aren't.

I've heard of it before, but I don't remember what it was called. It's out there though.

I agree with the first guy... if you're gay, you're gay... if you're straight, you're straight... and if you're bi... you're just confused and trying to figure out which way you swing... you'll learn eventually if you take the time to figure it all out.
